Well, when defeat is imminent, I already expected him to intervene.
Well, The Bastion is without its most powerful strategy which is stealth casting, manipulation, antimagic field, with a DM totally favorable for our Galandris and still needs to be a Sorcerer to have a chance.

Well, Sorcerers are officially the strongest class.

If that's your opinion, you need to recheck the logs. Note that when he posted his second self's action, he thought you were still mounted on the Nightmare, even to the point of mentally commanding you to hit your mount. Once it was clarified that you were no longer mounted, but were, in fact, alone on the ground, he acted accordingly.

What I am concerned with is the wording of the two distant dimension doors -- I'd thought it was the same word, so they should trigger simultaneously. That means the destinations should have been chosen before the Dispelling. I don't know if I misread or misunderstood the situation, though. Maybe @Galandris or @fearsomepirate would be willing to clarify that for me?

Hmm...I looked back at the original declaration, and I think you have a point.

a) Both wizard contingencies trigger at the same time.
b) The sorc's contingency triggers after the Dispel Magic.
c) Therefore, even if the other wizard had DD'd to the ground, no matter where he landed, the Sorc could have DD'd somewhere not within 60' of the Yuan-Ti.
d) In other words, regardless of initial position, the Sorc is able to DD more than 60' away from the other Yuan-Ti.

Therefore, this is my final ruling:

1. The sorc did fail his Crown of Madness save.
2. There is a Yuan-Ti close to the ground, regardless of how far he moved, he is not adjacent to the sorcerer.
3. All mounts are high in the sky, as they do not fit through a Dimension Door.
4. To simply end haggling over distances and how far who moved when, I rule the Yuan-Ti on the ground is 100' away, and the Yuan-Ti who is falling is, as earlier stated, 150' from the ground, and, when he lands, will be 300' away from where the Sorc is now.

The sorcerer may act normally on this turn, though he is charmed by the Yuan-Ti who cast Crown of Madness on him and may not take hostile actions against him. I include in this ordering his Simulacrum to attack this particular Yuan-Ti.

Um, defeat was never eminent, and while I expected different tactics from the wizard, I don't think things look super great for the sorcerer.

I believe the "Unbeatable Bastion" is about to lose.

And in case anyone asks, yes, I have always ruled that ordering a summon to harm somebody counts as "targeting the charmer with harmful abilities or magical effects," and this has been true for years before I posted in this thread.

It isn't RAW and the bastion isn't giving order every turn. The command is already given.
