Preference: I think 3 is a non-starter; anything could be a watchword, it doesn't need to be the statue.

We lack the information about the kobolds' attitude to the statue to decide between other options. Is it treasure? is it a trophy of a victory? Is it something they would want made as an offering (and if so is vicarious offering appropriate/acceptable to their worldview)? We don't kw, and any calling attention to it means that chances of stealing it go down.

If it is stolen, we can have an illusory substitute for a minute.

My guess is 2. is more likely to work than 1., but knowing the kobolds' attitude to the object would help.

Here's my idea briefly. I'll need Merrick ( @TaranTheWanderer ) to translate. My idea is to give a flowery speech, some effects with elementalism (shock and awe) to get advantage on performance, then do a sword dance with accompanying kihirkhash / mirwas (drums and bells) while others bring the barrel of food for the kobolds. Sell the dream!

Ideas?

Sounds good but it looks like the kobold has some kind of comprehend language on him. (Good thing we were using sign language to speak!)

He cast Tongues as soon as you entered his hut. I hope that you haven't been using sign language since entering the hut, or he will have understood you. There's been the occasional opportunity to sign something quick while he's not looking (or whisper here and there) but only carefully.
