A reminder that the hydra was sleeping under water in the deepest portion of the pool. Best tactic might be to bait it away while someone grabs the idol.

Funny about that! We might have something to use as bait, only question is who is going to be crazy enough to try and sneak around a Hydra?

Ok, I think we know Copper's going to try it, but who else?

If the Druid turns into an octopus, they could easy grasp the statue.

@FitzTheRuke where are we on the timing? Merrick is going to send another sending once we have info from the wizard so I’m not sure if team Fusion will get the message before or after the hydra plan.

Edit: looks like team caves is 17:35 and team fusion is somewhere around 16:10. So they should be getting our first message around Now!!

Is it posible to use stealth ? Pss without trace gives +10

I'm thinking a stealth option would be best (hence my last post mentioning that we should aim to avoid/minimise any carnage - I can cast Pass without Trace)

Also noting that both Shade-9 and Aywin dont need to breath so can survive underwater (so thats 3 of us for the dive team - any others?)

Hey guys,

Aywin can cast invisibility. Combined with pass without trace, and not having to breathe, maybe he can try getting the statue before we try to bait the hydra. Baiting it could be the fall back plan, and Svetlana could relay thr statis of what he's doing in the water. The odds wouldn't be crazy bad with all those spells active. He'd be open to being accompanied, but he can only cast invisibility on 1 person. This could also be done by Shade 9 (more stealthy, less tanky so pros and cons). I'm open to discuss.

The Gloomstalker Robot is probably a better candidate to go under the water and sneak since that's his schtick. I think he's effectively invisible in dim light.

2024 Druids only know a limited number of forms, so Bjorn’s only aquatic options are giant frog or venomous snake.

I vote for Shade trying to snag it using stealth. Bjorn can observe how it goes under water (along with Svetlana). Worst case, Shade becomes the bait and leads it to us while an invisible Aywin moves in from behind…
