Is Sense Psionics (page 98 in Psionics Handbook) a telepathic or clairsentient power? It is listed as clairsentient in the powers list, but the description says its telepathic. I couldn't find anything about this in the PH errata. And does this power detect spells and psionic powers only when they are activated, or can the psion scan the area for magical items and people with active spells (we're playing with P/M transparency)? Any help on this would be appreciated, as we're starting a campaign today.

The powers list does have it as Clairsentience (Wis) while the power description has Sense Psionics as Telepathy (Cha). The SRD also has the same error, so it was ported over directly.
My suggestion is make it both. A few powers fall into two different disciplines (Hypercognition is both Psychometabolic and Metacraeative).
I treat Sense Psionics as a Detect Psionics within the limits of Sense Psionics (only direction and distance (within 60 feet) and the discipline). Those things which would register on a Detect Psionics would also be registered on a Sense Psionics (spells, magic items, etc.) In magic/psionics transparency, it'd probably detect a lot of stuff, from magical potions, to scrolls, to actively running spells.
Quite a handy power, really.

In fact, with this interpretation it is probably handy enough that the power will be banned outright in our campaign
. Especially if it ignores walls, as there is no mention of this, unlike in the detect psionics description.
I understand that according to the new rules by Bruce Cordell, psions get bonus feats at levels 1,5,10,15, and 20. But which feats can the psion choose the bonus ones from?
