This is wrong.Reaper Steve said:In WoW, there are two sides of PCs. Orcs are on the evil side.

The Horde side isn't "evil". The Orcs have a warrior code of honor, the Tauren and trolls are there basically because they are in debt to the Orcs pulling their bacon out of the fire. The Forsaken are the only EVIL race that's part of the Horde (and possibly the Blood Elves; I don't know a lot about them).
But as it stands, the Horde is no less "evil" than the Alliance side.
And?Reaper Steve said:OK, fair enough. But they are on 'the other team,' not the one with humans, elves, and dwarfs.
Mourn said:Not anymore. The 4e changes to races seems to make drow, elf, and eladrin all completely separate races that are distantly related to each other (cousins, in the sense that dwarves and gnomes have been called cousins in the past).
Mourn said:Actually, there's only three: eladrin (sun elves, high elves, gray elves), elves (wood elves, wild elves), and drow.
And I say the opposite. Not everyone plays Heroic Fantasy. The core rules should give the options, rather than the restrictions.Reaper Steve said:To quit picking on Orcs, specifically, I just think that the monstrous/enemy races need to stay that way. No PC orcs, goblins, kobolds, or even drow*.
And so are plenty of 'good' monsters.Rechan said:Hey, elves and halflings are in the MM too.
