A Night at the Four Seasons (DM: renau1g, Judge:Ozymandias79)

Kauldron looks around for Damen and finds he is not there, he is by the door. Much quietly than the kobold.

OOC: Stealth 25 and Perception 26 to peak in from a part of the cabin Papo isn't stomping by. ;)

The cottage appears to be empty as the area is. There are two bedrooms inside, not large, but they look a fair size, and the furniture looks functional. Some fresh produce sits on a table in the kitchen. There is also a chest in the smaller room and an armoire in the larger one.

Damen calls the others over. Looks empty. Might have been a base for our fey friends. Anything odd magically? He looks to Cyr and Phoenix. If not, looks like a good place to rest once we get the lay of the land.

He looks about a bit. Anyone know where 'here' is, anyway?

*Kauldron after a long time looking around re-slings his shield upon his back and sheathes his blade. Finding a nice log out by the lake he takes a seat and relaxes. Never having seen a lake not on fire before.*

"There is faint divination magic about the circle and some conjuration in the cottage. Both are faint. In the morning I can ask some guidance from Lady of Misteries. Think on the questions you would like answered and what option would you provide for the answer."

Phoenix looks around the cottage and the surrounding area, looking for anything that sticks out.

Phoenix determines that the Divination is some sort of scrying effect, seems tied to the lake.

[sblock=Phoenix]
The lake can be used to scry on the desert portal and the nearby area, likely how they knew you were coming. [/sblock]

While the others debate the magic, Damen asks Kaeysari to have a look around the area near the cabin for danger. Then the drow takes Papo with him to inspect the containers for any trouble.

OOC: Searching for trap badness in the containers (then opening them if nothing bad found): 12

Kaeysari walks around the cottage, looking for danger, and occasionally prodding bushes and anything else interesting with the tip of her glaive.[sblock=perception]1d20+10=11[/sblock]"Nothing to see here," she reports somewhat doubtfully.
