A Night at the Four Seasons (DM: renau1g, Judge:Ozymandias79)

The group hesitantly steps through the doorway, tense for an ambush, but nothing assaults them as they step out from the harsh, whirling sands of the desert and into a small clearing. A lake sits at its center and a small cottage sits at its edge. You also see a large scorched circle and shallow pit next to the building.

*Kauldron pauses and looks around as he readies himself for a battle to come to pass. After a long moment or two. He lowers his shield some.*

Hmmm....interesting.

*He looks over at the cabin and makes his way towards it and the burnt circle. Looking things over as he did so.*

Oy! Lads and Lasses. Do any O'ya know what these was suppose ta be for?

*Pointing down at the burnt circle. Though not touching it.*

Papolstaanas looks around nervously, not very reassured by the pleasant scene.

Also, is the portal still open from this side? Did it close behind us?[/sblock]

Damen chuckles a bit as everyone looks around. He taps the goblin on the shoulder and says, You missed that, as he points to something.

OOC: Perception 25. Leave it to the professionals.

The circle is still warm, as if something large and fiery was hear recently. You detect nothing in the cottage, but find the door slightly ajar. The portal does remain open behind you.

This area radiates with Divination magic. Additionally, there is a minor conjuration effect inside the cottage. [/sblock]

*He squints and looks harder.*

Lad are you joking with me?

*He squints even harder next getting any better.*

Papolstaanas sneaks up to the door of the cottage and peeks inside.
