Acrobat 4.0 vs 6.0...

First Post
Currently I have Acrobat 4.0 and was wondering if I should upgrade to 6.0. Does anyone who has used both know if 6.0 has any new bells and whistle (better compression, new features, etc.) that would make the upgrade worthwhile?

Thanks...

I know that the PDF format was revised (to 1.5, I think) at Acrobat 5, and the changes were folded into Acrobat 6.

Plus, you get to upgrade for 1/4 the price it would take me....

other than that--I haven't used it, and the only fies I've seen made with it have nothing special about them save for an "upgrade your reader" nag.

Version 5 and 6 of Acrobat allow you to do a lot more with background images.... which unfortunately don't show up properly if the user has version 4.

I found this out, as I was still using Acrobat 4 (for both the encoder, and the reader sides), while my layout person was using the latest version. I kept listing out corrections to be made, when the product looked really good under version 5.
But otherwise for the oublisher standpoint I didn't find a lot of new features that were must haves.

6.0 is nite and day over 4.0. More features, more ability for pix to be included in it, more editing, worth it all around.
