Anyone interested in a True20 Star Wars PbP?

Note: this is NOT a recruitment thread. Just want to see if there are enough True20 players out there to warrant me starting a PbP. If there is enough, however, expect to see a recruitment thread soon ;).

I am also throwing around the idea of running a True20 game myself. Though the number of people who have the rules and that would be interested in playing would be a factor.

Well, I don't think I'll do anything for now. I'm in the process of developing a one shot for OpenRPG or some other chat based game. I'll probably do something after I get my other games off and running.

I'd be interested in a Star Wars game that is NOT d20. I don't feel that the d20 system does the Star Wars genre much justice. I own True20 and am quite familiar with it. The main bugaboo would be converting force powers. Other than that, it should be quite easy.

I have run Star Wars using the M&M rules, which are not that different from True20, and it went quite well. It was a lot more Star Warsy than d20.

I'm -DEFINITELY- up for a Star Wars game!

I don't have the True 20 rules though. Are they, or an SRD at least, available online?

- Note: I do have the Revised d20 Star Wars rulesbook WotC put out. I'm assuming that's not "True20." :)

If this does go off, I'm using True20 instead of d20. It's not available in an SRD format. You either have to buy the pdf or hard copy. And if it does go off, it's definitely going to be Star Wars.

True20 is OGL, so if you know d20, you can probably handle True20. If you have ever played or own either edition of Mutants & Masterminds, you will be familiar with the attack resolution and damage system.

True20 is more about the story than your stats, which is how a game like Star Wars should be played anyway.

If someone was interested in playing in such a game, I would be willing to help with any conversions, etc.

Does anyone know if there has been a third-party/fan-based True20 conversion for force powers? If not, that might be an interesting project to undertake.
