And to think he's just Dracula bought from Wish.com. Or to use an older term, a blue light special at K-Mart.
And Soth is basically Darth Vader.

Vader before the prequels existed. Rather than a hidden son, Soth's link was to Kitiara as his would-be protege, to pull her to his side in death (Guess that makes Arakius the Emperor - though that was Tanis who offed him, but Kitiara set him up to do so...)Tanis was really his son?
Fallen Hero isn't really just a Vader archetype.
Even before the prequels and the whole Padme BS, it doesn't really fit. Soth cheated on his wife and then thought his new wife was cheated on him and killed her and his son. Not very Vader as we knew him in the early to mid 80s.
I could be wrong though
Yeah, I mean my siblings are all Gen X, and as a result, I’ve generally gravitated toward people their age. Most of the people I play D&D with are Gen X, for instance.Oh, you're THAT sort of elder millenial, the ones who want to be GenX without the "meh."
Ypur generation isn't your age, it is what cartoons you watched between 9 and 13.Yeah, I mean my siblings are all Gen X, and as a result, I’ve generally gravitated toward people their age. Most of the people I play D&D with are Gen X, for instance.
Fair enough all. I personally don't care if WotC makes any extra money, and I certainly don't think they need to push hard on merchandising to survive like some have implied here, but it's not all about me.If we continue to have a healthy and vibrant D&D community of players I can game with? For me anything that has a positive impact on the number of gamers is a good thing. I guess I don't see WotC making a profit as a bad thing. I'm not forced to spend money on anything, if it has value to others who am I to say no?
I was thinking big imposing guy in a helmet who prolly has a big deep echoing voice but both being responsible for murdering their wives works too.Even before the prequels and the whole Padme BS, it doesn't really fit.
