At the Inn of the Fortunate Minotaur

There are warriors (veterans of the Ghazneth War), blacksmiths, wheelwrights, merchants, farmers, even gnomish friars, amongst the caravaners. They need you folks to defend them against Horrible Nasties. Beyond that, they're pretty self-sufficient.

They're headed to the Utter North to settle in one of the harshest and most forbidding areas of the Realms, after all...sheesh. ;)

The People

[OOC: I finished detailing the people of the Rolf-Lenumbrar Expedition last night...with the use of an online NPC generator I whipped up random statblocks for every last one of them (except infants and newborns). It's pretty cool to see their appearances, personalities, skills, etc. growing, and then extrapolating the interpersonal relationships and political dynamics of the group. It'll be fun to see how you all interact with them. In short, I'm looking forward to Sunday!]

What'll it be, Lenet? Van won't be there on Sunday to divvy up the stuff.

Keith Here

Mike, thanks for putting together the list.

Matt, I have chosen a Red-tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis) as my animal companion. This great bird is found from the tip of Alaska to the tip of Tierra del Fuego therefore it is highly adaptible to all kinds of environments. It eats many different types of small animals and has amazing eyesite. Plus they are cool looking.

Very nice. I'll print up some stats for you. Remember that you yourself cannot actually turn into a hawk...your shape-shifting powers are limited in the sizes you can assume. Hawks are "tiny." Just noticed that the other day.
