Oh yes. As soon as I saw the owlbear I thought of that. I thought about using it on the Roc if we had ended up running into them. In any case, I don’t think it works on monstrosities.

Owlbears and Rocs are both in one of those "gray areas" when it comes to "is it an animal?" (Regardless of creature type) that I'd probably be inclined to let it work on either of them. Maybe I'd give them advantage on their save. IDK.

@FitzTheRuke Probably doesn't matter, but if @Kobold Stew didn't miss the roll, he will still have 60 minutes to use the soul's assistance. Not sure if the comment was for flavor or indicated it was used in IC.

Snarf's last IC post made me think of something:

In my mini-sheet I have things listed like, passive perception, AC, saving throws, my spell save DCs, to hit bonuses etc... but, in a previous thread you mentioned that you don't really use the mini-sheet at all.

Is that still the case?

If so, There's a section that lists all my passives and my initiative(a useless stat in pbp).

I'm thinking of converting that section to track active spells/bonuses and stuff that people are using to buff my character sheet. Would that be okay or would you rather I keep it as-is?

I use the one-liners. Feel free to track anything you like, it will help me out for sure. There are things that I wish I was better at tracking (NPC names, plot details, magic items given out, what time of day it is, etc) that I tend to only think of when I need it, and it's too late and I have to spend far too much time searching for.

Just saw the most recent posts. Taran posted before I did, so I wanted to check in before posting. Originally, I was going to go full intimidation, but it looks like Donnell prefers more diplomacy? LMK if that's the case, and I will pivot. Otherwise, Doc will make it clear that they better be gracious hosts and open the dang gate.

I’m suggesting diplomacy as a way to deceive. Right now Gimlak wants to use mass suggestion but he can only see one or two people. I thought if we could get a delegation to come out, we can mass suggest them all.

Anyways, just an idea.
