Well, I like me some spoilers and hints and what not and the skuttle but I've read is...

Saul himself kills her in episode three or four when he learns of her treachery.

I liked the scene where Tyrol was talking to the man who was a traitor about getting even with Gaeta, even though it is Gaeta who has been secretly giving him information. I think Gaeta will die, possibly at Tyrol's hands.

In some ways Battlestar Galactica is a science fiction take on the Aeneid. I think the situation on New Caprica is the Carthage analog, just without Queen Dido. Unless that is Six's role.

Thanks for the info about her, folks. That helps me see where people are coming from about disliking her.

Figuratively speaking, the Cylons are helding Tigh hostage so that Helen helps them. If you keep this image in mind, you see that Helen isn't so different from the heroes of dozens of movie or series plots. The only difference is that we (or at least I) don't like her. :)

That's pretty much the way I see it :)

She is still as hopelessly pathologically narcissistic as Baltar, she's not as smart or charismatic.

So, how’s Lee gonna get rid of all that fat? Is the child really Kara’s? Does Adama know there is a furry caterpillar on his face?

She must have some kind of charisma, otherweise she wouldn't get in bed with so many men. :)

I assume, just as other people use to do it - excercises and a balanced diet. Shouldn't be too hard for him, he used to be quite well trained...

I think it is. The storyline is a result of her "stolen" ovaries of last season (on which Moore & co. spend some time to figure out what would happen with them :) )

Does Adama know there is a furry caterpillar on his face?
:) I hope he finds out soon enough...

My prediction for an episode down the line is:

We get a montage episode where Lee buffs up, Kara sets Leoben up to die slowly (so that she can get away) and she either takes the child (believing it is hers, or at least human) or kills it (believing it to be a cylon). She then hacks her hair back down to a short style, with a steely stare in the mirror. Adama gives the same steely stare, but instead of cutting his hair, he removes the idiotic-looking mustache on his face. Then, he and the newly buffed Lee take the fight to the Cylons. Meanwhile, Tigh continues with his own brand of bad-assery on the planet, scaring the crap out of the Cylons and getting crazier by the second. Helen survives, because she is a worm that everyone loves to hate (mainly because they can almost empathize with her).

At some point, Sharon meets her baby, and the whole show explodes because it is too cool.

That last part might not be very accurate though. :D

I think the second part of this season will have Ron Moore and David Eick (sp?) saying they hit a wall and now all the shows will just be the characters sipping espressos or drinking beer while smoking and wearing mirror shades.

My problem is the genetics. Can 2000 people offer enough genetic diversity to save the human race? 40,000 was questionable enough, but 2000 is really pushing it.

Well, some scientists think that such a thing has happened on earth around 70000 years ago when Toba erupted.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toba_catastrophe_theory

It also says that genetical studies have shown that all humans are descendant from just 1000 to 10000 individuals. Maybe it's just some crackpot theory.

I'll just add that I wasn't impressed with season 3. 1 and 2 were really great IMO. This is just laying the propaganda a little too thick. Gimme my space battles instead of suicide bombers!

Not necessarily.....early in the series, it's pretty evident that none of the crew really like her. Adama even tells Tigh as much....she's a bad influence. I think it's just that a lot of men really aren't picky......unless the woman is dead, or *really* ugly, some guy out there will be interested. Despite the fact that she's older, and unclassy, and not too bright, it's probably not difficult for her to prey on someone eager for a little companionship.

I'm not going to preface the above statement with "in all due respect"....I understand that the statement is coarse. But I also feel that there's a certain amount of truth. Many men aren't so discriminating.

I don't really like her much either....she's incredibly shallow, irresponsible, and doesn't have many redeeming qualities that I can see.
