BattleStar Galactica:Season 3.5--3/04/07--Arc 16

Ron & company has always said...even major characters, were not even safe from death's door.

I get the feeling they just don't know where they are going. I've been disappointed with the latter part of this season. I did think the previous episode was good, and I look forward to Baltar's trial - that should be interesting.

But this episode just did not make a lot of sense. And it was a rather anti-climactic way to kill off a major character.

I got some news: neither are Ron and Company.

This show is not going to survive much longer. They are alienating hardcore fans.

They don't HAVE that many fans to begin with.

See, I don't mind seeing a major character die, necessarily - as long as it makes sense, in some sense of the word sense. This just felt like non-sense.

It was like, ok, I sat through this rather strange episode and the payoff at the end is that she dies. I felt more from the death of the minor character pilot than I did this major character. That is just bad writing.

I would not mind her dying, if done properly. But much hay has been made over her destiny. And to have her die like she was just another piker, well, it does not mesh with all the time spent drumming on and on about her great and glorious destiny.

If left like this, I will be bitterly disappointed. If she return in some capacity, then I will feel somewhat vindicated, but not necessarily better.

Well - as my wife said. In David Eick's video blog - she did tell us at the beginning of the season that she's a cylon and that she dies.

Guess she wasn't kidding.

A little off track here...the SCI FI boards are working again. I gonna check their responses to what happen.

Hmmm, they got a poll running...and (don't throw stuff at me), but it looks like this eps, was well recieved.

And yupe...the hearbreak is all over the floor.

Frak, these people are taking it hard.

I saw that...I ignored it...
Tonight...the pieces fit.

Well, either she is some kind of freaky Cylon that doesn't need a resurrection ship, or they are going to take the series towards more literal " divine " intervention. If the dude in her head wasn't Leoben, and I would wager money it's not some tiny portion of her personality, because she's just not that sane, then that leaves a few options: One of the Final Five, one of the Cylon Creators, or One of the Gods, or All of hte Above.
