Does anyone else think that Adama has to have at least one crewman who can figure how Baltar's Cylon detector works, even if he's not capable of inventing it? Leaving control of the thing (which we're still not sure actually works) in the hands of a very unreliable figure doesn't seem like the greatest idea.

Well...what happened to the assistant that Baltar was assigned?

Oh, and I guess its pretty much final that Baltar's gone traitor. Not really any question about it anymore.

Yeah. The next question is how far gone is Helo's Sharon? Does she just care about him, or will she betray the Cylons entirely?

Heh. Actually I don't think he's gone traitor. He's just scared to death that if he reveals a Cylon, he'll die. He's not working for their interests, he wants the Cylons gone, he just...is really a chicken.

Was any reason given why the test now takes 11 hours? In the previous episode he was able to test Boomer's sample in just a few minutes.

The humor was a nice touch this time around.

That is pretty much my take on it. Baltar will always choose the path of least resistance when it comes to his personal safety.

Baltar is a traitor, if not directly trying to do so. He tries to protect his own skin at all costs.

As for this episode I thought it was great. Anyone notice that Edward James Olmos directed it?

I too thought the humor was a nice variation on things.
My favorite scene was the close with Baltar seemingly staring off into space while turning in his chair. He looked particularly insane.
