Howdy folks:
I'm running a healer build, Cloistered Cleric 6 / Radiant Servant 1. Domains are Healing, Sun, Knowledge. Pretty standard stuff.
I have Divine Metamagic (Twin Spell) and Twin Spell. Any advice what cleric spells are best to twin? I have to say that Shivering Touch, twinned, is hi-larious. (I wasted a boss mob with one touch -- 6d6 dex damage, no spell resistance, no save). Abilities are the new hitpoints, that's for sure.
Oh, by the way, another move that does not sound cool, but is really great in practice: twinned close wounds (with imbued healing) when a party member is about to die. The result is ((2.5+5)+HD of target temporary)*2 hitpoints as an immediate action. At our level this works out to about 29 hitpoints in a clutch to stop the dying from happening. Or, as our party puts it -- "Close Wounds, the poor man's True Resurrect."
Are there other nutty things I can do with twin spell? They're insanely expensive in terms of turn attempts (5 per crack), but I'd like to abuse this feat a little more. Are there twin Summons I could be doing? (Played with it, but didn't see much that turned my crank.) Twinned heals are cute, but overhealing is a problem and Divine Ward requires a turn attempt, so you can't combine with that with the Divine Metamagic. (Have I mentioned I hate that rule?)
Anyway, if anyone thinks of anything particularly vicious a cleric can do with twin spell, lemme know. Fourth level spells are the highest I can do at the moment.
