Horwath
Legend
Still the main problem with 5e is that feats and ability boosts share "character slots".
That way a feat HAS to be very powerfull to overpowered to even be considered over +2 to primary. And as most campaigns end around 10-15th level, that leaves 1 or maybe 2 feats to choose.
With that limited amount of feat "slots" only the best of the best will be chosen.
From XGtE that leaves; Elven accuracy(for classes that can force advantage every turn), Orcish fury and squat nimbleness.
Drow and wood elf magic would be in this list if they are "half feats".
Fey teleportation would be also in if it would add; once per long rest you can cast dimension door at 7th level.
There should be extra feats added to character development.
at 1st, 5th, 9th, 13th, 17th and 20th level a character should get bonus feats. That should be feats from this book and skill feats from UA.
And any feat from PHB that is NOT: Crossbow expert, Polearm master, Greatweapon master, Sharpshooter, Resilient, Lucky, Spell sniper, Heavy armor master,
