My mother is wanting to expand her restaurant business, and I'm going to try to help her with marketing ideas and such. She has just started the process for servicemarking (trademarking) the restaurant name and logo, so she is serious about this. She's already had one company express interest in licensing the brand name for another restaurant.
I have a background in marketing (writing), but I don't have formal training in brand management.
Do any of you know of any good books, Web sites, or such for me to look into for brand management and brand licensing?
