Well, I AM just outside the Loop right now (or 18 floors above it if we want to talk radio stations). That leaves just one prerequisite!

Vanilla is the most popular flavor in the world. Because of this people lose alot of perspective when it comes to vanilla. Vanilla is an exotic spice. The preparation of the beans for our consumption is an intricate process. Vanilla fits easily in ice cream and baking. A master chef can add vanilla's subtle undertones to his most prized dishes, using it in unexpected ways to bring about flavors most people have never experienced.
I have DMed in the World and City of Greyhawk for well over 20 years of enjoyable gaming. A city such as Sigil has a place in my campaigns as a place to visit for an adventure, a story arc, maybe even one whole campaign. But nothing will endure like GH. Those of you against GH cite the lack of support material. I agree GH is woefully undersupported currently. Most GH fans feel like WoTC in their attempt to snub EGG also snubbed the fans. But we take pride that the world of Greyahwk is now ours to continue the story in without some chowderhead messing it up. That's our story and we're sticking to it.

The Lady is an entity of inscrutable motives, and often those who cross her path, even if accidentally, are flayed to death or teleported to one of her Mazes (an almost inescapable pocket universe).
I don't buy either one. It was post EGG TSR that had a reason to say "down with the old and we can finally diverge the game." I haven't seen any evidence that WotC ever had that mentality at all. In fact, if anything, they wanted to get away from where 2e had gone, and get back to the old EGG-days roots, just with modern game mechanics.Vyvyan Basterd said:I think it was one of two reasons:
1) Down with the old and we can finally diverge the game from the AD&D EGG days.
or
2) They were already planning a new campaign setting (what ended up being Eberron) and didn't want the competition.
It's probably 2, but I'm feelin onery, so I assume 1.
J-Dawg said:And it really seems extraordinarily unlikely that WotC was already planning Eberron that early, since the setting search itself didn't take place until quite later. It seems like the WotC team simply never really intended to do much more than some basic Greyhawk supplements, and then let Greyhawk be.

Yes I would, I just hadn't put much effort in figuring out how to go about it. It'd also be helpful to know how to format the information to be most useful and accessible to others.Clueless said:.... *yoink* If you've not popped up this idea on Planewalker... let me know if you'd like to - thats' the sort of resource I'd love to host.![]()
