Cost of armor that can change shape with you

First Post
I've got a shapechanging/polymoprhing NPC that I'd love to slap armor on, and I'm tryin' to figure up the cost of a magical property that would allow the armor to change shape with him. The NPC has a habit of taking on the form of a dragon, and dragon's do not have an armor slot, so the armor would need to be able to alter it's shape to him.

I figured up the cost the ability that would allow the armor to fit and function with only 1 creature type, dragon in this case. Now, the ability to polymoph an unlimited number of times per day, and unlimited charges, would cost you roughly 56,000gp (4 x 7 x 2,000gp, though obviously, this isn't the final number). I figure about one third of this (18,000gp) or one half of this (28,000) would be a fair price to give armor the ability to change shape with you.

Too high? Too low? What cha think?

Bah, Mord you beat me to it. I remember seeing it when I was reading your ELH yesterday. Shapechanging armor I think. Low bonus, +6 maybe. I know it wasn't one of the +4/+5 enhancements.

Actually, in regards to the Shapeshifter's armor, the cost of the melding ability alone is about 40,000gp, while the +6 aspect is 360,000gp. Think 40,000gp is fair?

According to Oriental Adventures:

Shapeshifting: This armor's enchancement bonus becomes a deflection bonus when the wearer changes shape by using polymorph self or other magic. Thus, a hengeyokai weaing +2 shapeshifting brigandine armor would gain a +2 deflection bonus to her AC in her animal form. Caster level: 7th; Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor, polymorph self; Market price: +1 bonus.
Seems a bit cheaper.
