Creating dragon hide armor

I cannot recall where the specs and costs associated with creating dragon hide armor are listed...can someone please direct me?

Also, does the armor provide its wearer any resistance (i.e. fire resistance for red dragon hide, etc.)? Is the armor treated as MW scale mail, and are there any special weight, check penalty, or other factors?

No. But my version does.

According to the MM, it just gives you masterwork armour. No particular specials (and no extra costs, either).

I didn't think it cost anything more than standard MW armor (except the ffort involved in killing a dragon ), and I was reasonably certain it didn't provide resistance...but kreynolds' answer would suit several of my players just fine.
