Cool thanks for that, I'll have a look thru my D&D Cyclopedia to decide what skills to take.

Oh, you're going to want to use the list up on post #6... it's rather different from the RC skill list, since I fold in some 3e skills and all the thief abilities.

A-thank-you... and that does it, folks. Six PCs, means the game starts today over on the other board. This thread will remain for OOC/Meta-game discussion, rules clarifications, that sort of thing; I'll post the URL to the game thread once it's created.

Okay, so before the game can begin, I need everyone to sound-off by posting here with all the info left to fill in.

Voda Vosa: (EDIT) You're done.

Fenris: (EDIT) All done.

Lord_Raven88: (EDIT) You're all done.

Jemal: (EDIT) All done here.

Velmont: (EDIT) You're done, too.

Wystan: Just give me a little character description, and you're good to go.

You made a mistake in my skill list. It isn't investigation, but Intimidation I had chosen in case of Int bonus.

All right, if you can live with a cat-burglar whose chance to find traps is only 25% (which, compared to a typical 1st level thief in OD&D, is still quite respectable). But your chance to remove traps is a whopping 60%, since you took the Sabotage skill.

Oh... Investigation = Search... I didn't thought about it. Ok, let take Investigation instead of Intimidation.

Lyhan is a fauns that never fit into his small community. He never really liked the natural world and joy of his peer. He always wanted to see the big cities, he finally decide to travel to the capital. There, most people ignored him, some didn't liked him and showed it and very few welcome him. That broke all his illusion of the city. As time pass, his economy grow thin and he started to steal. As time pass, he gowed in skill, using some prestidigitation tricks he had learned to be use into his skill. One mistake has been to put his feet on a thief guild territory, but the guild decide to recruit him and teach him the few skills he needed to become a great cat burglar.

Kel Vorath The Mage (Neutral)
Skills:
Alertness (Wis)
Concentration (Con)
Persuasion (Cha)
Performance (Cha)
Knowledge (Int)
Spellcraft (Int)

Kel was born with a gift, and as he grew older was encouraged by his father (His mother having died during childbirth) to develop it, and he has done so to this day. He seeks Power and knowledge, and has learned a number of techniques to gain both. Kel is still a young man, only 18 years old, and is just starting out in life.

Description/details: Tall and fairly well built, though he has a glass jaw and is prone to sickness. Kel is a real looker, and considers himself a ladies man w/ Neatly done red hair, and dark green eyes.

RE: Spells How many do I get to know/memorize and what're my options?

Name: Dagon (Day-gone)
Alignment: Neutral
S10(+0) D15(+1) C12(+0) I16(+2) W11(+0) CH10(+0)
Skills: Concentration, Knowledge(History), Linguistics, Research, Spellcraft, Stealth.

Appearance:
Dagon is a gaunt looking human male of above average. Dagon has short cropped raven black hair, deep set smoky grey eyes, olive coloured skin and a penchant for wearing black.

Personality:
Dagon is a mercenary plain and simple, he isn't interested in doing the 'right' thing or fighting the good fight, unless he's being rewarded appropriately.

Dagon's services are availble to highest bidder, but once he's accepted a concept he'll carry it thru as a matter of principle. But he isn't above fleeing if that's what it takes to survive.

Dagon's only interest is in increasing his own fortune, power and knowledge.

RE: Spells How many do I get to know/memorize and what're my options?

Spells will be dealt with in-game once things get started. For now, both Kel and Dagon have no spell books yet (they'll acquire them soon enough, though).

The number of spells that a character can have memorized at any one time is equal to the highest spell level that they can cast, to a maximum of one-third their key ability. This means that as 1st level mages, capable of casting 1st level spells, both characters can memorize 1 spell. Both characters also have an Intelligence of 16, meaning that at most, both Kel and Dagon will be able to have 5 spells memorized at any one time (starting at 9th level, when they can cast 5th level spells).

Remember, though, your memorized spells are merely the ones that you can cast without needing to read from your spell-book, so it's generally a good idea to memorize combat-useful spells, since there is really no need to memorize out-of-combat "utility" spells. (Out of combat, time is rarely an issue, and there is little danger to having your spell book out.)
