so okay, I set my vcr to tape it tonight ... being a bit wary of a network's time slot change, I set it for 2 hours ... thankfully!

wasn't it mentioned somewhere that Enterprise was moving to 9pm? ... I checked the tv guide listing for my area and it's still at 8pm.

I liked this episode. Especially the part when they showed
the beginnings of the internal Xindi distrusts. Especially against the Reptilians.
. My only question was:
How did Archer get off of the Aquatic ship and onto that shuttle? I thought he was being transported to the council.

Loved it! This is the kind of stuff they should have been doing all season. There were lines for everyone, action, and drama all in the same hour. I can't believe Archer...
took the warp drive!!! Cool twist having the energy shield to go around as well. Wonder if we'll see those aliens again?!

It implies, to me at least, that the Aquatics are working with the Sloths and the Mammals, or whatever they are.

Personally, I thought it was kind of a letdown in a number of ways.

The T'Pol subplot struck me as a really cheesy way to show off more of Jolene Blaylock. And I've seen sudden addiction sub-plots added to shows (i.e. Buffy) and ugh... it just seems forced.

As far as Archer is concerned, I really have to wonder where they are taking the show. And the whole mysterious release of him by the Xindi seemed to me like a badly justified delay of a scene which I think will eventually come up: Archer actually addressing the Xindi council. So to me it feels like they're prolonging the story without good justification.

you guys rock! Thanks for the spoiler tags ...

stupid VCR, automatic daylight savings update my arse! (I suppose I could have checked it ... but it's still the VCR's fault!) ... anyway I have to tape this saturday and catch it ...

and no spoilers ... god this is killing me!

ciao!

I was disappointed by the same things that were noted in spoilers above, but overall I thought it was an interesting episode. Enterprise is one of the few television shows that I still watch, but I don't think I'll shed any tears if and when it closes down at the end of this season. Overall, it just doesn't grab me the way that TNG or DS9 did; now it's more like, "Oh, it's on, I guess I'll watch it," rather than me planning out my schedule to catch it on first-run.

T`Pol is an addict?
:)

Not only that, but
she's addicted to a substance analogous to the heat shielding on the space shuttle. "It affects the neural pathways of Vulcans" - gee, no kidding doc, industrial materials used to shield starships from various interstellar hazards aren't healthy to ingest - who would've thought?
