Fighters vs mages at high level.

Lol the scholar is far more in need of killing in the long run. Who is the bigger threat to humankind? A special ops soldier, a politicain or the guy in a lab who developes bio weapons? Nothing more dangerous then a scholar.

The politician. The soldier and scholar are just tools, as is anything they create. The politician is the real threat.

it's a non existant fight on a message board, it is like Calvin Ball.

In that case, I will encase my wizard in Calvin Armor. It has no spell failure chance and the arrows you shoot at me will go *KA-PWING!* right off of it.

*sigh* Now I've got to go read some Calvin and Hobbes.

So now the wizard did know there was going to be a fight, because it's prior arranged duel in a small ring?

I reiterate as well, the 30th level Wizard is going to pack a Greater Rod of Quicken, likely one he made himself. There's 3 9th level spells per day quickened for free!

This is a Real epic level arena, with many house rules to make wizards weaker... but I don´t see a fighter here... If you make a character to fight here let us know...

Hello group,

I just want to known why you compare a wizard lv 30 and a fighter lv 30, i mean how many level 30 people exist in a campaign world, okay in forgotten realms you can find a lv 20 wizard at each corner but i don't think this a reference.

If you compare a more average level like lv 10, the situation is not the same at all and this much more likely to happen to see a fighter lv 10 who want to kill a wizard lv 10.

What an odd question. We're comparing the classes at level 30 because that's the level the OP wanted to compare them at! This is a discussion board, after all.

heheheheheh yeah i hope this because of the guy who open the topic that you're talking about level 30, but i just to understand what it worth to compare so high level stuff when this never gonna happen anyway

BTW maybe you should just forget my comment, i was just wondering what is the idea behind all this
