D&D (2024) Firearms to be made a fixed part of the game, new Weapons Rules


Weapons meanwhile have a new "Mastery" mechanic. Each weapon has a specific tag that lets it do some special thing, and the Fighter's going to be able to use two "Mastery" features at once on their weapon.

One example is "Graze" mastery, which causes the weapon to do a minimum of damage even on a miss.

Given that each weapon has only 1 mastery listed, how is a fighter going to use two on a weapon? like does the fighter get one they can use on any weapon?
It's probably two masteries per turn, as a bonus for fighters. Everyone else will presumably have to pick a single mastery effect per turn. So dual-wielding rogues and rangers won't quite as good at using weapons as a fighter is.
