I'm stunned by the poll numbers, frankly. Is ENWorld secretly the Association of Married Gamers or something?

Checking Census Bureau numbers just for the U.S., my back-of-the napkin numbers are about 220 million adults and 55 million married-couple households (consisting of presumably 110 million married individuals). That's about the same percentage as we're seeing in this poll. I'm presuming here that the poll responders tend to self-select for adults or near-adults.

So, basically we conclude that ENWorld is secretly the Association of Not Being Terribly Demographically Different from the General Population. At least as far as this factor goes.

I'm curious do any of you still game with your ex?

I'm in the dating? Is that a RPG group. Most women I have interest in often run screaming in the other direction when I tell them. The rest I don't tell it works out better that way. Problem seems that they see me as nothing more than a big guy they can tell their troubles to. I get the brother speech from time to time. You know the one. "I see you like a brother." I'd love to work up the nerve to ask if their into incest. KIDDING

My wife of 9 years is not only a fellow gamer, she also proofreads and edits and acts as a sounding board for my freelance gaming design work. Has her name on the credits page of a few of my books, for instance.

Cheers,
Cam

Oh man....the old "I see you like a brother" speech. If there was ever an excuse for justifiable homicide it's THAT one. I DESPISED it.

And to answer your curiosity question: My ex only gamed cuz I did, so she doesn't game anymore.
