Giants of Legend

For those of you buying cases of Giants of Legend miniatures, can you recommend somewhere to buy a full case? I've heard that when you buy by the case you have a better chance of getting a good distribution of rares and rare huge miniatures. Are there any stores that sell miniatures by the case online, and if so, do they sell the case sealed so you know they didn't cherry pick booster packs with the dragons and other rares out and just send you 12 booster packs with the nonrare huge miniatures?

Both sell by the case, and the cases are sealed. Game outfitter has better prices, but they have already sold out their first wave so it will be a few more weeks before they have any more. FRP is very dependable, and ship quickly, but you'll pay a little more than you will at Game outfitter.

2 cases, I got a Treant and a Huge Red. I wasn't impressed with the pictures of the treant, but now that I have him, WOW. There's just something about a mini with a claw that you can put other minis in.
Seriously... The treant's claw is perfect for holding a medium-sized mini.

And Huge Red... I'm so glad to finally own a huge dragon mini... This guy
is going to be so useful...

My rares were the Otyugh (amazing mini... By far the best paint job I've seen in all of the minis. He looks like something that's been living in garbage
for a while). And the Young Master (a fine mini, but just not really worth
its rare status... Pretty good for skirmishes though.)

Oh yeah, and I've seen the Fiendish T-Rex... I didn't want one before, but now it's a must have. That thing just looks scary.

2 more packs. So far I've been disappointed with my Huge minis, but loving the rares. I'm pretty sure my rares were Stone Golem, Fire Giant, and Frost Giant. All cool. Huges were Bulette, Fiendish Tyrannosaur, and Behir. The behir is cool, but I could live without the other two. I hate buying tons of these, so I doubt I'll ever get the dragons.

I don't live in Canada, but I've gone through GameOutfitter before and have been pretty happy. I've ordered a half case (I guess I'm only a casual buyer) from them this time, but it looks like I'm going to have to wait a while. It looks like of there first wave of minis they've filled all there preorders from before 4/19. Hopefully I'll get mine by my birthday (mid-September)

It's okay, I'm patient and just live vicariously through other peoples posts... Keep 'em comin'!

G'day people!

I'm jealous of all of you, for two reasons.

a) I haven't seen any GoL packs yet.
b) I won't have the money to buy more than two boosters when they come out... for another month or so.

Anyway, from what I've been hearing, it sounds like the Huge distribution is less random than you might think.

A case will almost always give you 3 of the Rare Huges.

Indeed, it seems likely that there could be a case A and a case B.

In Case A:
1 Warforged Titan
1 Behir
1 Storm Giant

In Case B:
1 Huge Red Dragon
1 Huge Gold Dragon
1 Glabrezu

This is preliminary only - it could just be a statistical fluke.

However, it does make collecting the rare huges much, much easier - kudos to Wizards if the cases are made like this!

After I've gotten a few paychecks under me, I think I'll order a case. By then GoL hype will have passed down some so getting a case won't be that bad.

They have the 2nd best price and even though I ordered on 6/3 I am getting in on the first wave.
