No worries. The numbers, as they are, favor (if you don't want to go Leap Attack) Greater Weapon Focus, then improved critical (They're really the same, Greater weapon focus is -fractionally- better)

Since you like the Tactical Feats from Complete Warrior, you could go: Dodge, Mobility, Elusive Target (CW) for 9th, 10th, and 12th level feats (Can't take the third feat as a Fighter bonus feat, alas). For 8th I would suggest Greater Weapon Focus.

I tend to avoid Imp. Crit. in 3.5 since keen replaces it pretty much.

I have not picked up Cleave yet as I have not run into to too many situations where I would have been able to use it in the latest campaign. I may take it but like I said I wanted to see if there was some other more interesting feats from sources I may have missed.
You know, I just goggle in wonderment at what other DMs must be doing. My fighter cleaves so much--all the time. Many of our fights have multiple opponents; for instance, tonight with Great Cleave, I finished off three wounded fire giants in a single round! It was the highlight of my week!

1st attack, crit for 57 dmg--dead fire giant #1--CLEAVE, crit for 64 dmg--dead fire giant #2--GREAT CLEAVE--33 dmg--2nd attack, 31 dmg--3rd attack, 34 dmg--4th attack, 30 dmg--dead fire giant #3.

You just can't have that kind of action without some cleavin' going on. My DM makes it a point to throw multiple foes at us all the time so the three characters in the party with Cleave can have some fun. That's what it's about, right?

I suppose with great cleave it would be easier but I never seem to find myself surrounded by opponents so that I could cleave 2 or more.

I suppose we are just very tactical as a unit and tend to watch each others backs and develope a fighting line/formation. Too many deaths otherwise.

Like you said the DM makes a big difference on feat usability.

If you want something interesting and different you might consider the Mage Slayer feat from Complete Arcane. Of course you can't take it till 9th level as it isn't a bonus fighter feat but you can easily qualify for its prereqs (2 ranks of Spellcraft, +3 BAB) but its benefits actually work well for a front line fighter (+1 to Will Saves and all spellcasters cannot cast defensively if you are threatening them, though they know it). I had a Barbarian with this feat (I found it funny as well that I could roll Spellcraft checks along with the spellcasters to identify spells being cast - as long as I wasn't raging) and it worked out very well. Caused a lot of havoc for the enemy spellcasters since they had to move away from me to cast spells.
