Uhtred
Fighter 6

Uhtred nods in agreement, then positions himself ready to charge down the corridor if needed. "Let me go first and draw their attention, you've taken enough abuse already." he says quietly to Tirion.

Uhtred moves down the tunnel as quickly as a dwarf in plate armor can. He makes it too the door without triggering any traps or alarms as far as he can tell. The lock looks like a high quality one and the door is heavy oak with iron reinforcement bars nailed into with thick black spike like nails. He doubted very much that he would be able to kick it down and it would take at least a minute to chop it through it. The sliding observation opening is at eye level for a normal sized man so its a bit high for him but he can tell it opens from the other side. He could try and jimmy it open but if it is locked or trapped he might set it off.

Kelvyn nods and makes his way to the door. "I'm feeling a bit battered myself, but I should be able to handle a door." With care he examines it for traps and locks.

Kelvyn saw no obvious traps and he was pretty sure the lock was of good quality... pulling out his lockpick set he went to work on it quickly when he hit something he should not have...

GM: With a natural 1 and a total under a 10 you need to make a Stealth check or you made noise trying to open the locks

Kelvyn winces at the sudden click and does his best to muffle it, but his eyes widen meaningfully as he looks to his companions, imploring them to be ready. It was that loud, but...

First Post
Luckily little noise was generated by the rogue but he was not sure his skills were good enough to crack this lock...

GM: Can you re-try and open a lock you have failed to open? I know in the older editions you could not...

Round 8

Tirion nodded to his old friend Uhtred, willing to let the dwarf take point while he recovered. He waited while Kelvyn seemed to have a little trouble with the lock on the heavily reinforced door.

Kelvyn exhales slowly as their is no alarm and cracks his knuckles before having another go at the lock. He moves with care and skill, but this lock type was not quite familiar to him...
