Seeing the Fire damage from the flaming arrows do almost no harm to the hag, Qawasha stops focusing on that spell and instead channels the humidity in the room. Clouds stir at the top of the room and a bolt of lightning arcs out and hits the hag.

I guess I'll use Call Lightning
call lightning: 3D10 = [1, 8, 8] = 17
REflex dc 15 for half

Kapalue squeaks and runs between Miss Imogen's skirts and sidles up next to Brrapp, and as he does so he launches a stone from his small sling, with the ferocity of a stegosaurus.

OOC: Move to S26.
Attack with sling: 1d20=12+6=18 to hit (HIT)*
Damage: 1d4+3=5 (+1d6 fire?=3) rounded for resistance: 3 points bludgeoning (+2 points fire, possibly)

* sorry -- finger slipped before I did all the additions.

OOC: No fire. And I just dropped concentration so the arrows are going to lose it too. I figured it'd be more damage with the Call Lightning. Hoping no resistance

OOC: Even if there is resistance, it may do more than 1d6 halved for sure. Doesn't call lightning only work outside?!
Fitz, the homunculus cannot carry heavy stuff, but even large ants are still only ants - hopefully it can work (see below).

Ussal thinks about healing himself, but the hag is too dangerous and whatever he can do, she can undo. He will have to rely on luck and his armor. Still, doesn't mean he needs to exactly offer himself.

Leaning in, he calls upon one of his inventions in the armor and thorny chain lashes out toward the hag. The hooks latch on and the armored hulk and massive tail heave back, pulling her toward the acid bath. Focusing his mind again, Ussal tries to give her a bit of a shove to get her between fire and acid. And put a barrier between the two of them.

Hitting a hatch on his armor, small quatl flies out and Ussal sing-songs at it in celestial.
"Go, grab one of the ssstruggling antsss and drop it into the fire. Repeat as long as there are live ants."

Free: release the homunculus + speech
Action: Thorn whip vs hag; damage: 1D20+7 = [11]+7 = 18; 2d6 = [5,2] = 7 - pull to YZ 25/26 (10' up - 1 square - on the map)
Bonus: Telekinetic shove Str DC 15 or pushed back to XY 25/26 (1 square left on the map)
Move: 3 square up to AC 20

Legend
Imogen's arrows and Weed's stones did little beyond annoying the hag, and Ussal dragged her this way and that with his rapidly-expanding chain. His familiar flew into the swarm of oversized ants, and was lucky to avoid being bitten as it singled-out and drowned an ant in green goo.

But Qawasha's lightning, formed in clouds that clung to the room's ceiling, swirling in angry cacophony, struck down on her. Though she put her arms up and saved herself from destruction with a warding spell, she was injured enough that she called out, "Sister, sister, sister! They be too much fer me! Ye must avenge yer poor wee sisters!"

And she faded from view.

"Keshma, this is not an order nor wish to carry out but a question: can you hunt this coven of hags down wherever they hide on the planes?" asks Myrral of the Dao. As unsavoury he finds killing, even those of evil, the hexenbiests of the lore always hold a grudge and having an immortal that can move unseen after you is not a good condition.

In a short breather he adds
"Let me know, truthfully, and this might be your second task. What are your chances? We don't want you recaptured. I will set you free as quickly as tasks worthy of you appear. Also, can you only do one specific task or it can be something open like help us with our quest?"

"No!" Miss Imogen screams. "Not again!". As the second hag fades, Miss Imogen does a quick tally of what this pointess fight has cost them. She looks at Kapalue, bravely daring to attack with his tiny sling, and she realizes how grateful she is that her dear Weed is still alive, and how close she came to killing him.

She sinks to her knees, her knuckles sore from where she had ben drawing her bowstring. All to no use. The hags will return. They have not advanced towards the evil that they face, and they have lost so much. A wave of despondency hits her, and she knows that this too could be a consequence of this place. Her emotions aren't her own, not all of them. She stands again, and makes her way down to the main part of the room, looking for any clues or signs the hags might have left behind. A few of her arrows are still good enough to fire again, and she picks them up, drops them in the quiver at her hip. Miss Imogen does not make eye contact with her companions. There is too much to say, and no time.

"Forward?" she asks of anyone who will anwer.

As the thundercloud broils at the ceiling, Qawasha turns to Miss Imogen,

"I am sorry. But look, this new key has transformed and perhaps it fits in the lock to that door. Perhaps this is the end that we have been searching for?"

He pointed to the large green door in the southern wall.

"Do we not have the other keys from the other skeletons? There is still two doors to open that will help us get through it"

From post #3196
He found himself on the western gallery, where he was able to identify three exits - iron doors marked with a triangle, a pentagon, and a hexagon.
Also, this post:
Here is the map. I'm not sure if you can see everything, but those are doors all the way around the balcony, plus there are stairs going upward (and a green door with all the shaped keyholes at the bottom).

From insider her bottle, Myrral could see Kashima scrunch up her face, as if she was unsure if she could trust him to answer fully. She sighed and said, "The more specific you make the task, the less room there is for my personal interpretation of your intent. However, I must do my best to fulfill your request, whatever it may be. If I am defeated, I will simply return to the bottle. I admit that I have known those who have attempted to abuse the 'rules' of my curse, and I warn you: If you anger me, there is nothing that prevents me from turning against you, other than my own desire to be free."

As they were talking, as if from far away but growing nearer, there was the sound of a barking dog, and then the crowing of a cockerel. Followed shortly by the sound of three hags cackling.
