Tommi nods when Angis reassures him. "Thanks," he says, bowing his head slightly.

He doesn't want to participate in the examination, but he is curious. "I suppose you killed the guards in the tower? It won't have been deserted before you made it... like that." He waves indistinctly at the additions that the orcs have made to the tower, throwing off the building's lines.

"Oooowwww...." Groans dandin as he pulls his arm in. He'd thought his jibes had done the trick, but the orc had caught him anyways. The rest of the fight went as if in a blur for him.

Still, he was alive, even if his arm did feel like it was on fire right now. Deciding to take a break from the action for the moment he went back to his cart and cautiously climved into the back to watch the happenings.

Snake watched the orc be questioned, he didn’t really have anything to add so he remained silent and looked up at the skyline and studied the clouds.

Dandin looks up to Drui with a faint smile. He looks about ready to topple over though more from the shock andholds his arm up to be inspected. Bone can be seen through the gash and even that seems to have been damaged. "Maybe I should have stayed a bit farther back, but I couldn't let Angus face two of them alone."

He's so out of it that for the moment, he's completely forgotten to start checking for valuables.

Angis translated the Orc's strangely-accented speech and his companion's questions:

- He knew of no ambushes other than your very successful one.
- The dwarves had not occupied the tower for as long as he knew history (decades, perhaps).
- He was part of a regular orcish guard stationed there to watch for elves and humans.
- His people live 'in the mountain'.

Angis also reminded Enseth that this road was not a usual road to Julkoun, but the old road to Illefarn. The road to Julkoun from Daggerford would take you around the other side of the mountain - days out of your way. This route would certainly be faster to get there, but may be fraught with... obstacles.

These orcs were not likely to be preying upon civilians - only hapless wanderers or brave souls such as yourselves.

Round 0

“Aye, the tower shuild be a foine place t’ take a rest,” Angis agreed, looking at the progress of the sun in the sky. “We done wi’ this one then?”

OOC: If no one stops him…

Angis spun his axes around in his hands before slamming them to either side of the orc’s neck. The orc’s head popped up in a spray of blood, plopping down at the dwarf’s feet. Angis gave it a kick and sent it tumbling over the cliff.

“I’ll clean up the mess,” Angis said, calmly wiping his axes clean and nodding toward the dead orcs lying around the road.

Tommi's jaw drops when Angis decapitates the orc who has told them what they had asked it. It-him. He lets out a noise that is not a scream, but rather an undignified squack of shock. His hand covers his mouth. He's embarrassed and a little afraid. And he keeps his eyes down, avoiding Angis' gaze.

As the dwarf finishes pushing the body parts off the main road, Tommi makes his way to the cart, and strokes the pony pulling it behind the ear. "To the fortress, I guess. If the cart can make it. If not, I can stay with it by the road.
