Drui rose an eyebrow at the last of Dandin's remarks. Surely, he had seen his share of looting thus far. Midwives, survivors, fellow warriors, all of them sought to collect the remnants of a battle. After his days in meditation, though, he began to develop a distinct opinion about the practice, especially after knowing about the city's traditions of honoring the dead. By principle, he considered obvious that the weapons should be either buried with the deceased combatant, or delivered to someone else as a token of respect. Selling them seemed wrong now, in a way that it wouldn't, months ago.
On the other side, those were goblins. Fond memories of greenskin killings pervaded Drui's mind. His older brother killed his first one at a tender age, when they still trailed undermountain ways. He himself couldn't - he wasn't strong enough - and it took him too long to learn how to slay them. As his brother used to say, though, "you'd be a full to suffer one of these to live". Showing contempt over them was strange, though, since they did display courage from time to time. He munched on such thoughts for a while and, with a distant look on his face, he responded to Dandin's declarations in a rather blunt way: "Drui. You?" - after strapping his shield to his arm, he scans the group once more, now studying the apron and gear of each arrival, trying to understand if they are soldiers, militia, adventurers or mercenaries. "So who's leadin'?" - he seems ready to follow the group into battle.
