Hanar seemed calm now, at least for the moment. Dandin gave him another pat and then waded into the insanity. He could tell that the Bugbear was aggravated by his jibes and with a grin he continued on, harrying the brute with his words.

"You call that a swing? My grandpappy could duck that, and he's deader than a mouse in a cats house!"

[SBLOCK] moving towards the bugbear, taking cover from goblins if able and using vuscious mockery Wis DC 13 [roll0] psychic damage and disadvantage on next attack on a fail.[sblock]

Legend
Tommi & Enseth vs Goblins 1 & 3

Blessed by Tempus, Tommi slung a stone at the Bugbear which arced past Drui and struck the brute in the nose. It closed its eyes and grunted, swinging its spiky club madly. Tommi crouched down and made himself a handful of new stones. Suddenly a sneaky goblin, who had slowly climbed up the burnt wall behind Tommi, leaped down on him brandishing a fiendish-looking cleaver. Tommi tried to roll to the side, but the goblin slashed him across the back.

Enseth moved into the burnt-out cottage and pummelled one of the goblins to burnt paste with his flaming hammer-fist, while the other goblin that was there ducked behind him and tried to get away.

Tommi feels the axe cut into his back, between his shoulder blades. He doesn't know it, but the fact that he feels it is a good thing -- he still has an intact spine. He whirls around to deal with his opponent, only to see no-one...

Until he looks down, into the grinning jaws of the small creature before him.

Legend
Dandin, Titus, and Morwin vs Bugbear

Dandin ridiculed the bugbear as he left his cart behind and hustled toward the conflict. The brute snarled at him and Morwin dove in, scratching at his face as Titus ducked low and slashed a lethal gash in the bugbear's side. The snarl turned to a gurgle as the bugbear fell to the ground.

Averiel & Tarthagal

The bugbear dispatched, Tarthagal leaped over its fallen body and ran with his longsword held high in both hands toward Tommi and the viscous goblin that had cut him. The elf brought his sword down hard, but the goblin jumped to the side. Averiel let two arrows fly toward the same goblin, but they struck the ground beneath its feet as it hopped about yelping.

Maingalad vs Goblin2

Maingalad was growing even more frustrated with the goblin he was fighting. He lunged forward, but the creature rolled under his blade and cut him badly across the thigh with its rusty cleaver and then ran away. Swearing, the elf spun around and gave chase, and was finally able to catch up to the goblin and he hacked it in the back of the head with his curved blade. He found attacking an opponent from behind to be distasteful, but then, he found everything about the goblin to be distasteful.

Archon Basileus

First Post
Swinging his hammer up high, Drui moves forward in alacrity and silence. He grinds his teeth at the goblin attacking Tommi, a newfound despise against the creature after seeing the amount of cruelty and disdain for the rules of noble war taught him throughout the years. He rises the hammer, attempting to smash the creature's skull with it.

[OOC: Going for Tommi's enemy, since it seems closer and more visible to Drui - at least to me. :)]

Legend
Drui & Ulaqui

Drui moved toward the goblin that had hurt Tommi. He saw Ulaqui, who had picked up one of her daggers and was now coming at the same goblin from the other side. She caught the look in his eye and shoved the goblin from behind, who stumbled forward as Drui brought his hammer down on the top of its head with a loud crack. The goblin fell to the ground and lay still.

Ganalan vs Goblin5

The last goblin left, who was next to Enseth, rolled between the Shield Guardian's legs and made a run for it. Ganalan fired an arrow at the creature, but his shot was high. The goblin fired his little bow at Angis as he ran past the coughing dwarf. The arrow whizzed past Angis' ear, but it got his attention. The goblin squeaked and tried to run away...

GM: I thought maybe Ganalan could finish the fight, but he's not very experienced. We're gonna need Angis to get it done. (He's the only one left to go.) You back yet, @KahlessNestor? The goblin is only 10 feet away from Angis, running away.

Legend
Angis

Angis chased the last goblin, and hacked it in the shoulder with one of his hand axes. The goblin rolled forward and avoided his other axe, then popped up and kept running. Angis was forced to give up the chase when a hail of arrows from the closest Watchtower rained down on him from long range. One of the arrows struck him in the leg and he stumbled as the goblin made its escape, diving into a hole under the cover of the tower.

Angis quickly returned to the cover of the burnt-out cottages.

Close enough. Encounter over.
