Use movement to head towards the troopers, Use action to sprint forward but finish behind cover, use object interaction to draw blaster, use bonus action and a force point to activate resistance.


She didn't react with the greatest of speed, but her natural nimbleness and training kicked in. Jihahna rushed towards the troopers into cover, drawing her blaster rifle. She turned back briefly to yell at the others. "I think we should focus on one group at a time, the droids can't attack us without line of sight! So we should move into the trooper tunnel and hopefully have them mopped up by the time the droids round the corner! We won't take as much fire then."

With that, Jihahna moved towards the troopers double-time into cover. Her eyes dilated as she could feel herself focusing, the force guiding her against danger.

Reks is staggered by the two blaster bolts that strike the young Jedi but he seems to recover from the damage quickly. Then Cal moves behind a stalagmite mound closer to the tunnel where the Sith troopers had appeared but his return shot missed.

So the two sith snipers each hit and did a total of 37 points of damage to Reks, causing him to gain the Reeling condition. One sniper is in the tunnel 80 meters away and one is 100 meters away in the chamber.
Cal moved to 12 meters cover and missed the sniper in the tunnel.
Sith troopers (6 of the them and one more) Dashed into the tunnel behind the sniper and are at present 70 meters away from the main group.
Sith troopers (and one more) in the 2nd tunnel Dashed but are still out of sight
Two Battle Droids Dashed into the chamber and are at present 80 meters away.

Round #1 Actions.
Reks rolled a natural 20 on his Action to recover from Reeling and it only takes him his Reaction to recover. He also has used his Bonus Action to take his second wind. He still has his movement and Action this round.

Feeling somewhat safer behind cover, Cal took the time to line up his shot and sent another blaster bolt downrange toward the Sith sniper in the tunnel. Nodding grimly at the resulting thud, he muttered something about womp rats and said, "The tunnel might be a good idea, but we may not be able to retreat if we move into it!"

The gand leans forward, triggering her jetpack.

Only thing is, she's just unbuckled the 4-point strap: with a rush of white exhaust the pack shoots right off her back and into the tunnel on its own! Soon followed by a blaster bolt... right through the pack's compression tank!

OOC: He/she's trying to create a smoke screen to (hopefully) force the troopers into melee range with our jedi friends (and if there's a lake of burning fuel and such when the troopers get there, the gand wouldn't say no to that either :))

"These ones are now free to concentrate on the metal ones?"

It then turns its attention to the approaching droids, firing their way... clicketty warble hum-mumble clack "GE3-T3, the case please."

Jihahna runs her right hand through her hair in frustrated agreement with Cal. "Damn it! You're right you know... Ok, how about we take out the droids in the other tunnel first, they're probably easier to clear out of our way than 20 troopers, so as long as the tunnel leads out, we'll have an escape route pretty quickly. We also can also deny them of their sniper advantage."

When the gand attempts to fire her jetpack, Jihahna holds her breath.

Cal shot and dropped the sniper in the tunnel as this Gand moved over and throwing her jetpack into the tunnel shot it creating thick obscuring smoke within it. She then shot and damage one of the battle droids while dropping prone to the ground not far from Cal.

Targo quickly moved behind a stalagmite and shot at the droid but missed but Reks moved a bit farther forward and his shot was true, destroying the damaged war droid!!! He also took some cover as Kacela dropped back behind a large rock to be completely out of sight of the droids.

Then a shout went out as a Sith Officer rousted her troopers out of the tunnel some sixty meters away. Taking cover behind various rocks and stalagmites they blasted at the party, but only one bolt struck true, hitting Cal and shocking him with pain of the energy bolt cutting along his right leg.

The last battle droid moved closer and shot at Reks with its arm blasters but the Jedi is able to avoid both blasts!

The sniper in the chamber moves back behind cover and disappears for a second...

OK hope its cool but I am just going to NPC Reks and Kacela this round...

Cal shot and killed Sniper #1 that was in the tunnel

This Gand moved towards the tunnel, threw and shot his jet back into the tunnel to create smoke. Also went prone and damage War Droid #1 for 21 damage

Targo moves to cover and shots at War Droid #1 (disadvantage) Shot at disadvantage, Damage if he hits: 2D20.LOW(1) = [11, 14] = 11+4 =15
3D8+2 = [1, 7, 4]+2 = 14

Kacela ignites her lightsaber (as part of her move) and then get full cover by badguys (as I am not sure about her actions just taking the full cover one this round).

Reks ignites his lightsaber, stows the other one to draw his heavy blaster pistol, and moves to cover (+ 2 reflex). Then ranged attack vs. War Droid #1 (disadvantage) Attack at disadvantage, damage if he hits: 2D20.LOW(1) = [19, 19] = 19+4=23
3D8+6 = [8, 8, 6]+6 = 28
, wow a hit AND 28 damage destroys Droid #1!!!!

Bad Guys Actions
Lieutenant Wessin and her 6 troopers move (12m) out of the tunnel 60 meters away and take one-half cover (+2 Reflex) as their move. Wessin uses her bonus action to Inspire Confidence (you can inspire confidence in all allies whom can see and hear you and understand you, granting them a +1 moral bonus on all Attack rolls and a +1 morale bonus on Ability checks until their next rest or until you’re Incapacitated or reduced to 0 hit points. Once inspired, your allies do not need to see or hear you to remain inspired. You can use this ability again after a short or long rest). This only works for the 6 troopers as the ones in the tunnel cannot see her. She then uses her action to fire a shot at (random roll 1=Cal; 2 =this Gand; 3=Jihahna; 4=Reks (Kacela full cover), rolling : 1D4 = [2] = 2, at this Gand with Disadvantage. Attack at disadvantage, damage if she hits: 2D20.LOW(1) = [4, 4] = 4+4=8
3D6+4 = [1, 3, 6]+4 = 14
, a miss.

Sith Troopers now attack, I am going to shot at Cal twice, This Gand twice, Jihahna once and Reks once. There attacks vs. this Gand are at disadvantage (as she is prone) and the rest get +2 to their Reflex defense. First Cal with attack 1 & 2, Jihahna 3 and Reks 4: Attack and damage rolls if you hit: 1D20+5 = [8]+5 = 13
3D8+1 = [2, 2, 1]+1 = 6
1D20+5 = [15]+5 = 20
3D8+1 = [7, 8, 4]+1 = 20

Now two troopers attack this Gand at disadvantage Attacks at disadvantage, damage if they hit: 2D20.LOW(1)+5 = [7, 4]+5 = 9

Troopers and the Sergeant double move 24 meters down the tunnel. They are now 56meters down the tunnel

Then Battle Droid #2 moves 16 meters close (is now 64 meters away from main group and 52 meters from Reks and Kacela) and shots at Reks (as he is closes and not at disadvantage, just cover bonus). Note of course he does not gain the Inspire Confidence bonus as it is a mind-affect and droids cannot be affected by these effects. Duel Weapon Attack (Reks Reflex Defense is 21 right now), Attacks and damage rolls if it hits: 1D20+6 = [13]+6 = 19
4D8+4 = [3, 2, 5, 8]+4 = 22
1D20+6 = [7]+6 = 13

At the last second, Cal turned his hip and managed to take the blaster bolt as a glancing shot on his leg rather than dead on. Grunting in pain, he took aim and focused his fire on the woman who seemed to be giving the orders. Scoring a hit, he dropped down behind the rock he was taking cover behind.

OOC: I mentioned it in the OOC thread, but Cal used his reaction to use Uncanny Dodge to cut the damage he suffered in half.

Drawing his bodged flaregun from his belt with his off hand, the ponchoed alien rises, popping an actinic flare high over the scene while simultaneously firing single blaster shots with her other hand as she moves across open space to another spot of cover -- Maintaining the status quo.

Crouching down: clicketty warble clack "Greetings, GE3-T3." She pops the explosive's case open, slaps two of the gray detonite cubes within together and plants a detonator in the middle -- a thin cylinder of blinking red malice.

Presenting it to Kacela in its gloved three-fingered hand, like a gift from the vacuum-gods: short-drone slurr clack "It will explode on impact."

[sblock=OOC]I'm thinking Move Object, but YMMV?

Don't remember how much damage these do (4d8 over 4m radius maybe?), but two should do the job nicely. Do they get the +2 dice damage bonus from the Demolitionist Talent?

How long does a flare last, GK? These are commercial ones bought in Footfall, not the bodged ones from before. No Low-light malus while the flare is working.

Actions:
Free: Spot hidden sniper (Disadvantage for light, Advantage for Compound Eyes): Jeepers Creepers: 1D20+5 = [4]+5 = 9. Drat
Move: Take Aim
Bonus Attack: Fire flare
Double Attack vs 60m Troopers (at Disadvantage due to range and being prone):

One hit for 3D8+7 = [6, 6, 4]+6 = 22 damage. One trooper down.

Action Surge: Set explosives.

This Gand started packing her explosive charges while looking for the sniper. She could not see him so shot another trooper instead, her blaster bolt knocking him back and out of the fight. At the same time Targo shot at the droid but it was too far away and his bolt disappeared back into the darkness of the cave.

Kacela moved to another rock outcrop, weaving and dodging as she did so.

Cal shot and wounded the Sith officer, causing her to yelp in pain and surprise.

Reks then fired at the battle droid but this time his shot missed as the range was too great.

Jihahna also shot the Sith officer and this time the women fall back dead or unconscious.

The four remaining Sith trooper split their shots between Cal and Jihahna but they all missed. The troopers then all dropped down prone.

The Sith sniper reappeared and a lucky shot caught Kacela with a bolt that burned her along her midsection and caused her to cry in pain at the wound!!!

The battle droid remained were it was and fired at Reks, and this one of the powerful bolts struck him and cause him to reel back in pain and it lased across his shoulder almost causing him to drop his lightsaber.

This Gand prepares explosives and yes if you have Explosive Expert Talent you do an additional +2d with the explosives. SO if you are combining 2, your total will be 8d6, but you do need to make a Tool Use (Explosives) TN10 to do this.
Also you shot and killed one of the troopers (Sith Trooper #1)
Targo shots at the second Battle Droid, still at long range, Attack at disadvantage, damage if he hits: 2D20.LOW(1)+4 = [3, 17]+4 = 7; 3D8+2 = [6, 4, 1]+2 = 13, miss.

Kacela stays where she is at (one-half now, so +2 to Reflex, Lightsaber Defense +1 to Def). She then uses her Action to take the Dodge action. NOTE that she is still within 24 meters of this Gand and the tunnel but not within range of the battle droid or troopers UNLESS she uses Move Object to throw it. She can just needs a good Use the Force roll and then a Ranged attack roll (with proficiency).

Cal only suffered 10 damage last round so not Shaken, (still has one-half cover +2 Reflex and is prone) and shots Lieutenant Wessin for 24 damage (dropping her to 20).

Reks (still with one-half cover +2 Ref and Lightsaber Defense +1 all Def) shots at the second Battle Droid, it is still at long range so at Disadvantage (with pistol), Attacking with disadvantage, Damage if I hit: 2D20.LOW(1)+4 = [7, 15]+4 = 11; 3D8+6 = [5, 3, 2]+6 = 16, miss.

Jihahna (cover for +2 Reflex and Prone) then shot the officer (before she could take her action and get into cover OR took her second wind) and 23 damage, taking her out!!! Damn… she did not get to use all her cool abilities :( hehe ;)


Badguys Turn…
Sith Troopers in the tunnel and Sergeant Uthall do stuff in the tunnel.

Sith Sniper (one-half cover +2 Ref, and prone Disadvantage from ranged attacks against him) shots at Kacela (no surprise or bonus, but using Careful Shot to ignore one-half cover and adds +2 to hit and damage if he hits), and also at disadvantage because she is Dodging this round. Attack at disadvantage, damage if he hits: 2D20.LOW(1)+7 = [15, 11]+7 = 18; 3D8+4 = [4, 7, 7]+4 = 22, I think that is a hit. As she does not get cover but she does get the +1 from her Lightsaber that means 18 Reflex, which he got. So 22 damage and she is Reeling.

Sith Troopers (one-half cover +2 Ref and prone, disadvantage with Ranged attacks against them) split their attacks between Cal and Jihnana, Jihahna’s are at disadvantage so…Two attacks at disadvantage, damage if they hit: 2D20.LOW(1)+4 = [1, 15]+4 = 5; 3D8+1 = [6, 4, 7]+1 = 18
2D20.LOW(1)+4 = [13, 17]+4 = 17; 3D8+1 = [1, 4, 1]+1 = 7

Then vs. Cal (forgot he was also prone so also at disadvantage. In OOC I roll the one that hit and got a natural 1 so both attacks missed. Attack and damage if it hits: 1D20+4 = [18]+4 = 22; 3D8+1 = [5, 4, 5]+1 = 15
1D20+4 = [12]+4 = 16; 3D8+1 = [3, 3, 8]+1 = 15
