Taken by surprise, the gand re-adjusts its aim mid-firing, trying to give the dark-haired human some cover as she attempts whatever it is she's attempting.

OOC: These would be the two missed shots from the last post. :)

This Gand stood and ran forward a bit firing as s/he went and while a bolt hit and dropped the sniper s/her shots towards the battle droid missed. S/he then ducked down behind a stalagmite. Targo also shot at the battle droid but missed it. He then ducked back to get better cover behind his rock outcrop.

Kacela threw off her pain and ran back towards the others taking some cover and actively trying to avoid attacks.

Cal stood and move closer to Reks, firing at the droid but missing. He then dropped prone behind another big rock on the floor.

Reks shock off his pain and barely standing shot and damaged the battle droid. “HA, take that you bucket of bolts” he yelled.

Then Jihahna stood up and moved to Kacela and grabbed the explosive pack and quickly ducked back to where she was not too far from the tunnel entrance.

The battle droid stood its ground and shot at both Reks and Cal, catching Cal in an explosion of rock that the medic was able to partially avoid.

Two of the Sith Troopers stood and advanced a bit before dropping behind other cover and shooting at Jihahna, one bolt cutting across her cheek. But the powers of the Force meant that most of the damage was deflect and it only cause a slight burn.

The remaining two troopers shot at Reks and Cal but they both missed.

Finally a large Sith Trooper appeared out of the smoke from the tunnel and move to the side wall a bit. His face plate sharing straight at Jihahna and she almost thought she heard the man growl in anger…

GM: Initiative Order
22 - This Gand and Sith Troopers
21 - Kacela
19 - Cal
18 - Sergeant Uthall
17 - Reks
13- Battle Droids
12- Lieutenant Wessin
11 – Jihahna

[sblock=Round 2 follow ups]
Kacela used her reaction to try and negate the attack but missed her roll[/sblock]

[sblock=Round 3]
This gand stands and shot and killed the sniper (with a FP spent) and then missed the Battle Droid with both attacks. He then moves 6 meters and takes full cover from the Droid and first group of Sith Troopers (this means no cover from the second group if they come out of the smoke this round).

Targo fires at the Battle droid and uses his movement to get ¾ cover from the battle droid and first group of Sith Troopers (+5 Reflex). attack (disadvantage), damage if he hits: 2D20.LOW(1)+4 = [6, 19]+4 = 10; 3D8+2 = [3, 5, 5]+2 = 15, missed.

Kacela recovered from the Reeling condition and moves back 12 meters to take cover from both the Battle Droid, Sith troopers and the second tunnel, just in case (+2 Reflex all). As her action she takes the Dodge action.

Cal stands and moves 6 meters closer to the Battle droid and shots at it and misses. Then goes prone with ½ cover (+2 reflex).

Reks Con check vs. Reeling: 1D20+2 = [13]+2 = 15, makes it. He again fires at the droid, attack (disadvantage) damage if he hits: 2D20.LOW(1)+4 = [17, 14]+4 = 18; 3D8+4 = [3, 3, 4]+4 = 14, hit for 14 damage!! He then goes prone with ½ cover (+2 reflex).

Jihahna stood and moved over to Kacela to grab the explosives and then moves back to where she was taking ½ cover (+2 reflex).

Bad guys…
The droid fires one shot at Reks and one shot at Cal, both at disadvantage as they are prone, attack (disadvantage), damage if he hits: 2D20.LOW(1)+6 = [9, 4]+6 = 10; 4D8+4 = [1, 5, 5, 1]+4 = 16
2D20.LOW(1)+6 = [18, 15]+6 = 21; 4D8+4 = [4, 2, 3, 6]+4 = 19
, missed Reks, hit Cal. If Cal uses his Evasion he takes 9 damage from this attack.

Sith Troopers, two take a half move to stand and move 6 meters closer to cover (+2 reflex) and fall prone (free) and take shots at Jihahna as she is not prone so not at disadvantage, just cover. Attack and damage if it hits: 1D20+4 = [1]+4 = 5; 3D8+1 = [2, 6, 4]+1 = 13
1D20+4 = [17]+4 = 21; 3D8+1 = [2, 3, 3]+1 = 9
, one missed, one hit for 9 (resistant 4) damage.

The other two sith fire one attack on Reks and one on Cal, attack (disadvantage), damage if he hits: 2D20.LOW(1)+4 = [7, 13]+4 = 11; 3D8+1 = [3, 5, 3]+1 = 12
2D20.LOW(1)+4 = [11, 5]+4 = 9; 3D8+1 = [5, 2, 5]+1 = 13
, both miss.

Then Sergeant Uthall appears out of the smoking tunnel and moves to the right 2 meters along the chamber wall (he does not have cover). NO one else follows him out, so you are not sure if they are just back a few meters or lots… the sergeant is about 6 meters from Jihahna, 8 from Kacela and this Gand.

Cal ducked his head just as the droid fired on his position. Shards of rock peppered his face, but he was fortunate the wound wasn't worse. He and Reks had to take the droid down now, before the rest of the soldiers made their way through the smoke to attack them. The numbers were already not in their favor. Cursing as his shot once again went wide, the medic dropped down behind the stalagmite.

Jihahna looks at the explosive device in her hand, then back up at the sergeant. She turns and yells to the others "Brace yourselves!"

She moves out of cover towards him and throws the explosive forward and past the man and moves back behind the stalagmite, blocking her ears and bracing for the explosion.

OOC: Ok, so, Jihahna moves 2 metres towards Sgt. Uthal, throws the device using normal range, 10 metres past him, goes back into cover and blocks her ears.

The aim is to move 2 metres closer to Uthal, throw explosive 10 metres away, past Uthal, placing him within 6 metres of the explosion's centre, then retreat back 2 metres behind cover.

_: 1D20+3 = [18]+3 = 21

Seriously Forged, Coyote Code is much better. The local site is flawed with its rolls.

GM: Uthall came out of the tunnel and then moved two meters up along it. If you throw it down the tunnel 6 meters is has total cover vs. it so it will not affect it. If you want to try and get the troopers in the tunnel you need to make an ranged attack roll at disadvantage (as you can't see where they are) UNLESS you also use a Bonus action to make a Charisma (Use the Force) skill check TN15 to ignore heavy obscure. So if you fail the Use the Force check you need to roll again and take the lower. Also simple ranged attacks (throwing a stone or a grenade or a bomb) count as a Simple Weapon so you get your Proficiency bonus with them.

In order to hit the troopers or Uthall, you need to make a ranged attack and place it within the radius of the explosive. If you hit their Reflex defense they take full damage, if you miss but still get a 10 they take 1/2 damage (cover etc. can affect this).

So at present you can't get Uthall and the troopers in the blast radius (depending on how far down the tunnel you throw it or how far down they are). If you throw it only 4 meters down the tunnel he would have 3/4 cover (so +5 ref defense) vs. it.

Make sense?

OOC: Drop it right at the tunnel entrance? No need for the force-sensing, since its out of the smoke, no cover for Uthall, and if the troopers are within 8m of the entrance, they get hit too.

The gand drags the Twi'lek padawan down to the ground, not unkindly, covering her with its own ponchoed body, head down.

OOC: ½ move to back off both he and Kacela from the 8m blast radius, if need be. Rest of action after explosion. :)

EDIT= You can go ahead and roll the 8d6 damage if you want, Sezarious? it's your bomb. :)

Yeah, will just do as Binder said. I think we all agree who the main threat is. Uthal. If by chance, placement in the entrance caught the troopers, cool... But Uthal is the primary target.

In order of importance, Jihahna wants to first place it based on hitting Uthal, then avoiding harming herself and other party members secondly, then third, blowing up as much 'smoke' as possible, so, should be fine as is I think...

GM: OK cool, you would get him at full damage. Roll 6d8+2 (for half your level) for damage. Now you are within the blast radius also unless you move back to wear Kacela and this Gand are. You still have movement so its possible.

Also just for a not, Dodge and being Prone grant the same disadvantage to ranged attacks against you so Kacela gets no extra bonus for being prone as she dodge this round, but up to you guys.

After the blast, the gand whirls back around, alien fingers pointing Kacela towards the still-moving shape of the large sith trooper, just visible in the blast-smoke: whirr clack "Go."

If there's movement down the tunnel:
*clack* goes the folding stock on her carbine, snapping into place. Kneeling front and center, the little alien opens up down the tunnel, full-auto, filling as much of it with blaster-bolts as she can manage.

[sblock=Actions]Uthal has more HPs than the explosive's max damage, so that seems a safe enough guess. Hoping the blast will have cleared some of the smoke out of the tunnel, but rolling at a disadvantage just in case it didn't:

Bonus action: Brace
Double attack: Can of whoopass: 2D20.LOW(1)+7-2 = [3, 11]+7-2 = 8; 3D8+7 = [6, 7, 8]+2 = 23
2D20.LOW(1)+7-2 = [14, 9]+7-2 = 14; 3D8+7 = [1, 5, 3]+2 = 11
.
Using a FP on that first roll: Nights counsel: 1D4+1 = [3]+1 = 4
= 12 for two half-damage results if at a disadvantage (17 dam, Reeling) or one half damage and one full damage if not (23 dam).

If there *isn't* anybody still alive down the tunnel after the blast, target the battle droid with single shots instead, hitting with the 14 for 28 points of damage.[/sblock]
