After a moment, you realize it's a crude warding gesture, similar to the ones peasants sometimes use to avoid ill omens. "Ashardalon greatest of dragons! How you know this name?" When you explain about the writing on the wall, it relaxes slightly, and nods, its shrill voice turning self-important again. "This past temple to dragon. Worship true god, not prissy sungods or treegods no one ever see!"
