Invasion of Mori - IC [3.5][CE/NE][planar]

Gabriel Sovot, male Vashar bard

Gabriel nods smoothly at its erstwhile allies, pleased that things managed to get sorted out without him having to lift a finger. Confronting this walking worm was going to be quite interesting indeed...

"Snargle, my good troll, I shall teleport with you," he says with an ingratiating smile. "Shall we get this show on the road, my fine fiendish fellows?"

Rose nods at Snargle. "You mind?"

The tiefling then turns to Gabriel. "Damn! I'd started to grow accustomed to peace and quiet..." he grumbles.

"What? You think I would miss an opportunity to get revenge on that vermin who slew our fair succubus? This will be far more... entertaining than returning," Gabriel says to Rose, smiling sharply.

Silhouette clears her throat.

"We may want to scry the target zone...teleporting to a place seen only on a map can have repercussions. And yes, I know we're all impatient, but haste in this case will not simply make waste. It will bury us in a mountain."

(lol...people are going to hate me, but we're all using normal Teleport items and powers. I'd hate to roll that % die for a place we've only heard of vaguely :) Can anyone scry? I only hae Clairvoyance, and its range is sharply limited. About 900 feet in my case.)

Drax see Snargles slots filling up and shrugs, "I will teleport whomever else wishes it then. I can take four others with me."

"Bah! Kobolds wait for Snargle, Snargle eat them." Not understanding Silhouette's warning and disregarding what he thinks is her concern of possible ambushes when they arrive Snargle grabs the nearest medium sized third who has not said they could teleport and draws them next to Gabriel and Rose. Stomping his booted foot down on the ground Snargle and the three others disappear in a cloud of brimstone as reality is torn open to rift the four off to reappear someplace like the one indicated on the map, chaotic demon magic bending reality around them.

ooc I don't have the FF and I'm not sure if Kaorti are medium size.

While his mask hides any expression - not that his bony face would give him away anyway - his voice seems to hint at embarrassment when he says: "It appears I did not memorize that spell today, though I don't know why. I'll need help getting there as well."

Drax says, "Well then you can join me? Anyone else need a lift? Going once..."

If no one else asks for a ride, Kaelvorr motions and a trio of kaorti sprint over to the cryptspawn and one to to the trollfiend all with alien litheness.

If Kelteror is still in the chamber, Kaelvorr will address the demon once Snargle disappears. "I would ask a boon of you, in the interest of ensuring that the mission is successful. Now that the large one has been gracious enough to hazard the dangers of scouting, could you examine the area and return to describe it in detail? I am told true demons do not err when teleporting. I daresay that I myself and perhaps the cryptspawn are not so infallible in such magics. A desciption would reduce the chance of mishap and thereby increase our change of victory overall."

[sblock=moritheil]Any kaorti sent beyond 5 (one marshall of each of the following types: bonus to Fort saves, bonus to Ref saves, bonus to Will saves, bonus to overcome SR, and bonus to Dex rolls) will be warriors or commoners.[/sblock]
