GM:

Giana knows of this Ranger camp, which usually only usually has two to three rangers in it. She knows that this is a forward camp used to rest, resupply, get out of really bad storms and the like. There are three main Ranger strongholds but they are deep in the forest two weeks or more from this current location. Giana does not know the exact location of the strongholds. Giana has heard some of the same rumors as Aubrin in regards of the cave but she has heard a few different ones.

You can go searching for the caves based on survival checks with advantage due to the Wanderer feature. Also if you do get lost it will only be for one day of traveling until you find some landmark that gets you back on track.

Loosh suggests, "I say we stay here until first light and then go looking for the caves ourselves. I'm pretty good at finding things, and I bet a few of you are too. Everyone keep an eye and ear out for more dead things while we are at it. I will take an early watch."

Harb Half-Elf Paladin

Entering the cabin, careful to disturb as little as possible Harb scans the inside for any kind of map of the area before going back outside of the cabin in time to hear mention of burying the dead.

OOC: Perception [roll0]

"A funeral pyre would be preferable to a grave, but I fear we can't risk the Legions scouts seeing the smoke. I think I saw a shovel in the cabin though... it would have to be shallow, I'll help dig."

Going back into the cabin he grabs a shovel and works with Flint to find a place to start digging.

"I can take any watch, my preference is the last watch."

"I'll take second watch," Corsa says, and then heads into the cabin to find a spot to relax.

She doesn't bother to help with the grave-digging. Limited food means limited energy, and she wasn't about to waste hers burying a couple of already-rotten bastards she'd never met.

Vin moved into the cabin and settled into the far corner. It took him longer than usual to enter his trance state, the undead creatures were another piece of the puzzle. Was it a coincidence or was it part of a larger plan.

"Do you think it was a coincidence that the rangers here have been neutralised? We all assume they were killed by the other creature but what if someone else killed them?"

Corsa's half-sitting, half-leaning on the table when Vin walks in. She looks up from cleaning her blades when he asks about the Rangers.

"Since they rose again, I expect the wight killed them, but I think it's probably a coincidence. Didn't see any undead back in town, and we're pretty far from civilization now. With no one around to stop it, weird sh*t happens this deep in the woods." She grins at him. "And not the fun kind."

GM:
Harb does not find a map, but he does find a shovel, there are also three sets of leather armor, three longswords, three shortswords, three shields, three shortbows, three longbows and 10 days of rations.

Looking at the pile of things Harb has found, "Why are there three of everything?"

He picks up a set of leather armour and tries it on.

Lal frowns... "Where the zombies wearing armor? Maybe one of the rangers managed to get away?" Lal rubbed his chin and continued "if there are no witnesses however, wearing that armor may not be wise if there are other rangers around... "
