I'm not sure there's a "these shows" equivalent to this one in the superhero genre. It looks to be skewing more adult than the typical WB Arrowverse type shows, something closer to Reacher or Justified. Definitely not the genre I'd expect to particularly concern itself with minding its language.It doesn't make them anymore appealing or professional, in general.
Teenagers swear too. Doesn't mean that makes them all grown up or more interesting.
Little kids swear also. Normally in copycatting adults. The irony is that these shows swear like little kids swear thinking it makes them seem more adult, when in truth, it must makes the show seem more juvenile to those who already have enough of that type of stuff in their life already.
