If you liked Lat den ratte komma in (Let the Right One In), you will like the American version called Let Me In, staring Chloe Grace Moretz (Hit Girl from Kick-Ass).
I was wary of a remake, especially of such a recent and good film, but, amazingly, I think this version is just as good as the Swedish original. There are slight differences here and there, both in style and focus, enough to make it worth watching both versions, but essentially they are the same story (all the elements that made the original so good are retained in the remake).
If you haven't seen the Swedish original, go ahead and see the American version while it's in the theatre. The two versions are on such parity that there's no reason to delay seeing it on the big screen.
