I'd love to see the Character Record Sheet cover in the PHB1, and the DMScreen cover in the MM1.

I'd love even more to contribute to those books, of course.

The layout on H1-3 looks a lot better than the core rules. Don't like that full bar at the bottom covering up the art.

I guess I prefer minimalist cover art. I would much prefer solid colors with tasteful, subdued art as if framed. Still, these covers look like they'll hold the book together adequately and I don't think I'll spend much time looking at the outside of them.

Is it just me or does the transparency added to the H-modules covers add a lot to their artistic value ?
Maybe they should just use this design for the other book as well.

Is it just me, or do they have the PHB and the Character Sheet book's cover concepts backward?

Shouldn't the PHB show a party working together, and the Character Sheet thing advertise the different kinds of characters you can create?

Thunderspire Labyrinth is supposed to be set in a ruined minotaur city, so perhaps it's some kind of fiendish minotaur. Or they've added big tails to 4e minotaurs.

Edit: And that fire giant with his pet hellhounds should be on the cover of MM1.
