MD-VA-DC Game Day - 10/2/04: Crunch Time Approaches - Volunteers Needed!

A few have replied via the DCRPG yahoo group, and I am sending out replies to those who responded that they wish to run a game. At least one has joined the boards (welcome to Dr. Games) since I have been so slow. I will post up others wth their permission once they have shown commitment and what/when they want to run a game.

We could start cataloging interested players as well, as many replies to me from the DCRPG have shown interest in playing as opposed to GMing.

Hoody Hoo!!!

1) I play D&D in any incarnation. I also play most White Wolf Games, Twilight:2000, Traveller T20, Star Wars d20 1E, Merp, Rolemaster, Call of Cthulhu, Stormbringer, and pretty much anything else you can put down in front of me.

2) I'll play at any time or both. :D

Dexterward,

Put me down for D&D 3.5 OR Starwars D20.

I am still finalizing the StarWars adventure and am leaning more toward that. I have not yet made a decision and can always run the old reliable D&D if there is not much interest in StarWars.

Bill2825,

Noted. I will list you as either D&D 3.5 or Starwars D20. Let me know when you make you decision.

Thanks a lot for the advice. Pregen'ed characters would really ease things in terms of customizing the scenario.

I'll pregen characters as you suggested if there aren't any player to GM assignments (or sign-ups). I guess players just show up to the table to play? If there are accomadations for players signing up for a GM then maybe I'll ask the players to generate their characters according to my criteria and send them to me.

I've got a draft of the outline of the scenario put together and will flesh that out a bit more while waiting to see how the player/GM situation will be dealt with.

Hell, I've got a few months left to fully write it up! I was also thinking about making copies of the scenario to hand out to the players at the end of the session if they'd be interested.

Mr. Lobo

I'll be more than happy to show up.

I have experience only in AD&D 2nd Ed. and 3.0 & 3.5 D&D. Would like to play either D20 or BRP Call of Cthulhu (i own both versions, 6th Edition for the Chaosium book, yet never have played.) I have not had the pleasure of playing in a convention type setting so I am not sure of the etiquette in these sort of scenarios. If anybody would like to educate this newbie, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for this great chance to meet a lot of my fellow EnWorld'ers.

For the morning session, I am planning to be a player so put me down. I am good for any D&D 3.0/3.5 session.

I also want to add 2 more players who will be coming with me but are not on enworld. They are interested in D&D 3.0/3.5 and Starwars D20
