MD-VA-DC Game Day - 10/2/04: Crunch Time Approaches - Volunteers Needed!

Hey DW,

Sorry for my lack of any presence. Been a little busy lately. Nonetheless, just wanted to let you know that I'm still a possible DM but would really prefer to play and game and perhaps even watch a game. Its been a while since I've DMed a live game and I feel I've almost lost my touch. Besides, I know there are a couple of great DM's here on the boards who have said they wanted to DM a game. I'd love to really be able to just sit in on the game and see what deviousness and chaos ensues.

That said, I'd still be willing to DM/GM. I was also pondering it some more and for varieties sake, would go with D&D 3.5, SW d20, or Modern d20.

Thanks for the work you put into the list DW. It is much appreciated.

Dexterward,

Go ahead and lock me in for the PM session as Starwars D20. Things are firming up nicely and it is going to be fun to run.

And as for Felix.. he does not realize he is going to be there since his normal Saturday game would have been on that weekend and is now cancelled!!!

:D

Bill2825,

Done. Your are now listed as D20 Starwars running a PM session.

GM Iago,

I have you as a possible DM for D&D 3.5, Starwars D20, or Modern D20.

Knocks on the Microphone...

Xath...Xath? You out there? Is this thing on?

Drop in when you get a chance and update us on the venue confirmation. Thanks!

In case you are keeping track, I've made up my mind that I'd rather DM in the AM and be a player in the PM (if possible). Also I will be running 3.5 so as not to confuse myself. Thanks Old One, if you could update my game listing.

And there is a reply for another DM from the DCRPG (Rick A., this is you) who will be using 3.5E, and would like to DM in the morning.

How are we doing on the dates and times? I understand we've all but wrapped up the venue & date at the U of MD, and saw the likely schedule that was posted earlier; are we sticking to it?

It looks like we should have a good turnout, now I have to find a great one shot...
MarauderX,

I updated the DM list with your new preferance, D&D 3.5 in the AM. I also added Rick A. as a possible DM/GM.

DW,

Just to give you more work...could you arrange the potential DM list by time slot? That way we can easily tell who/what/when after the number of tables at each time slot becomes available.

Thanks :D!

Old One and All,

I don't mind the work at all. Here is what I have so far by user preference.

DM/GM Slots: AM: 2, PM: 6, and No Pref: 7
Players: AM:2, PM: 1, and No Pref: 9

Let me work up a schedule and post it this afternoon.

GM/DM Table and Time Assignments (6/10/2004)

All,

This is the first stab at DM/GM table and time assignments. Let me know if any changes need to be made. At the moment there seems to be enough DM/GMs to run 8 tables per time slot without having to use any one from the list of possible DM/GMs. At four players per table that allows 32 players per time slot. Of course, we could put up to 8 players per table for a total of 64 players per time slot.

If any of the DM/GMs on the possible list would like to run a game for sure, I can add a table as needed.

Note: I am listed in both time slots, as I would like to run a two part epic D&D 3.5 game. If that becomes a problem, I can change my plans.

AM Slots (8 Tables 4 players per table = 32 players)
Old One - Grim Tales/3.5 Hybrid
Doseyclwn - D&D 3.0/3.5
Dexterward - (epic) D&D 3.5 (part 1)
Trollwizard - D&D 3.5
MarauderX - D&D 3.5
Tormenet - D&D 3.5
Savage3e - All Flesh Must be Eaten, 7th Sea Orginal
Mr. Lobo - D&D 3.0

PM Slots (8 Tables 4 players per table = 32 players)
Dr Games - It Came from the Late, Late Show
Old One - D&D 3.0/3.5
Psion - D20 Modern or Travler T20
Dexterward - (epic) D&D 3.5 (part 2)
Threshel - Mutant and Masterminds
Destan - D&D 3.5
Kormydigar - Basic D&D
Bill 2825 - D20 Starwars
Ramien Metildes - Feng Shui

Possible DM/GMs
AM Slots (3 Tables 4 players per table = 12 players)

Tortise - Unknown
Kengar - Savage Worlds
Rick A. - D&D 3.5

PM Slots (3 Tables 4 players per table = 12 players)
GM Iago - D&D 3.0/3.5, Starwars D20, or D20 Modern
Calico Jack73 - Twilight 2000 2.0
Dethstryke - D&D 3.0/3.5

Just to narrow down my slot a little, I'll either be running T20 or d20 modern, either featuring material from products hosted at RPGnow!
