Sorry guys, I finally got a job which means I spend less time on the boards. But yes, as far as I know, we have the room. I should get confirmation tomorrow, friday at the latest. We've had to wait for all of the paperwork to funnel through the SGA. Rest assured, I am still here.

Xath,

You have my deepest and sincerest regretts on the job....I'm sorry.

As for the room...Whooho!

Xath,

Thanks much for the update...

Sorry to hear about the job...I recommend people stay in school and sponge of their parents for as long as possible ;)!

I haven't had time to read the whole thread since I got back from my honeymoon, but count me on on this in some capacity! U of M is about 2-2.5 hours from me, so I'll be there. Once I get the time to read the whole thread I'll post some more and see what I can do, wether it's running something or just helping to coordinate things.

Just wanted to pipe in, since it seems most of my group is likely to be in on this, I might as well, too. If there's still room, of course.

I'd be interested in playing just about anything, but the grittier the better. I might also be convinced to run something as well.

Anyway, just testing the waters...

If there is going to be 8 tables with 4 players at each table, isnt that 32 players? Or am I missing some crucial piece of info there....? Just wondering...

The Gerbil
doh! That will teach me to write stored procedures and do higher level math:p at the same time.

Xath,

Thanks for doing the leg work! It seems like the room is a go.
Oh, and welcome to the working elite  .

DW,

Just to give you more work...could you arrange the potential DM list by time slot? That way we can easily tell who/what/when after the number of tables at each time slot becomes available.

Thanks :D!

Now that we have the date set and confirmed put me down to DM a game of Basic D&D (Moldvay boxed sets). I can accomodate 2-5 players for an original adventure set in The Known World. No modules used, new players and old timers are all welcome.

Hello player sign-up person.

I'd like to register for bill2528's afternoon d20 Starwars session, and I'd like to do so as an alternate (I might be out of town for a regatta, but then again, maybe not.) Is that on the up-and-up?

Player Sign-Up...

Just a little longer before player sign-up...

Hey Gang,

I know folks are anxious to get signed up for games. I would like to ask for your patience for a bit longer until we confirm the number of tables for each gaming slot. After we have that number, we will contact those that have offered to DM and find out how many players their game can accomadate and how many "open" slots they will have (since some DMs might already have friends/current players that want to play).

Once we have all of this, we will post a list of games with DM, Game, Time Slot, Brief Synopis and number of chairs. We will color code each game and then players can sign up for games by responding in the appropriate color.

We should have this together by mid-week, so if everyone can hold off for a bit longer...that would be great!

Thanks!

Hey Old One,

I think we need to get the DMs to write up a short description of the game they are going to run. As a player, I would want to know what the adventure is about before signing up. The GM should also state if the characters will be pre-generated, or if the player can bring their own characters, and if so what levels or restrictions apply.
