MD-VA-DC Game Day - 10/2/04: Crunch Time Approaches - Volunteers Needed!

It would be better if the money came from as few sources as possible, so if you could get me the funds from all the different donation sources (check would probably work best) I'll put it on my card. Hold off on getting me the money until I know when our account is updated from the SGA; shouldn't be too long.

I'll also stop by and get a couple of diagrams describing standard table layouts. Tables, chairs, and setup are all provided with the rental fee; we have an event coordinator who works with us to get all of that setup.

Allrighty. Grand Ballroom was reserved (someone picked it up Friday), so...

WE ARE CONFIRMED FOR OCTOBER 2nd, 2004 IN THE COLONY BALLROOM.


Total cost is $375. Security/table layout will be provided later on today when I meet up with the folks during lunch.

Okay gang...

We have moved the date to 10/2. I know that several DMs might not be able to make it, so if you have posted a game and can't make it, please go back through and edit your post accordingly. I will be compiling a game slot/sign-up thread in the very near future.

Also, if you ARE DMing on 10/2 and haven't posted a teaser yet...please do so.

Thanks to everyone for their patience...I know this date doesn't work for everyone. Hopefully, if his goes well...we will be able to do this again in the spring of '05!

Okay, Cost Update...

Cost of Room: $375
Cost of Security: $0
Realizing security for vendors requires a police officer: Priceless

So there you have it. The final cost is going to be $375, which means we've more than covered it with current costs. We need to talk about stuff like posters and whatnot.

Next, room layout. Ready for this?
