[MM2e] Salton City Needs Heroes! Episode 1: Premiere

Keiko's eyes narrow as she thinks. "Yes...I think there was," she muses. "And a bullet made of inferiorium would not be common. We should be able to find out where it came from, unless it lacks any identifying marks at all, in which case we know it's black market."

Keiko's eyes narrow as she thinks. "Yes...I think there was," she muses. "And a bullet made of inferiorium would not be common. We should be able to find out where it came from, unless it lacks any identifying marks at all, in which case we know it's black market."

"So the police have the bullet, then? Did they say how long the ballistics test would take?"

"We don't need to wait for ballistics when we got these..." The Ten-Foot Pole reaches into his pocket and pulled out the box that contained the three Inferiorium bullets that were obtained from the parking lot.

"Thei gyv mi møni og bøx when Ieg trie buy iscrem" Sven says motioning to the box that the Pole is holding.

Keiko holds up a hand to stop things.

"Wait. The 'ice cream' vendor gave you those bullets? And you didn't tell us? We could have caught the supplier..." She rubs her temple.

"This assassination attempt was very strange," she adds after a moment to peer at the bullets more closely. "They were well equipped, but not very...good? I mean, to mistake Sven for an assassin. They weren't any better at communicating with each other than we were."

"Which is a good thing, I expect. We pulled it together towards the end. They were still struggling."

Max frowns.

"That's so ... weird," he says. "I mean, the supplier was at the assassination site right before it happened? You'd think the assassin would have gotten his amunition in advance, so why were they still around?"

He bites his lip, then shakes his head.

"Well, whatever the reason, lucky break for us, right? Who do we give these to for tracking down the source? Oooh! Do we have a giant mega-computer that can tell us?" There is a frightening level of glee in the young man's eyes at the prospect of a super-super computer.

Mikeal thought over Sven's and Keiko's statements for a moment and shook his head. "I have some theories about why that assassination attempt was so strange, but they only would create even more questions which I'm not certain should be asked at this moment.."

"Well, whatever the reason, lucky break for us, right? Who do we give these to for tracking down the source? Oooh! Do we have a giant mega-computer that can tell us?"

"Let me escort you to the Freedom Theater's computer lab.." Emily lead the group out of the private theater/access lift then towards the computer lab.

Freedom Theater, Computer Lab
Freedom Theater's Super Crime Fighting Computer is located in a spacious computer lab that has multiple computer consoles, a high-definition-laser-optics-scanning/analytical device, a large central display screen, several servers, and various other standardize crime solving components. The SCFC itself takes up one of the room's walls, but is accessed through a computer that is located in the center of the room, directly front of the room's massive display screen.

OOC: Visualize this room as looking something like how CTU's main room from 24 would look like with the Bat Cave's computer.

Max gapes at the super-computer, shrinking down to his full compressed sized (~1 foot tall). Then his face breaks into a ridiculous grin, and the very tiny Max vaults into the air, doing several backflips before landing again.

"Best. Day. Eveeeeer!" he cheers during his acrobatics. He lands with a rather loud thud but no apparent damage, then blushes as he returns to full size. He clears his throat and speaks quite softly:

"That is to say: impressive."

He looks to Mikeal then. "So, I guess we feed it one of those bullets now, yeah?"

"There must be some kind of scanner...we can scan the bullet in, then see if it has any identifying marks," Keiko suggests. She starts inspecting the computer's various peripherals, looking for something that suggests a scanner.

After a second she finds the high definition laser scanning device, and with some experimentation works out how to open the sample tray.

"Here!"
