MnM3 Centropolis (Re-bot)

I am not sure if you are familiar with the 'source-material' as I loosely basing the adventures on the old classic V&V games Death Duel with the Destroyers and The Island of Doctor Apocalypse. So if you are worried about the big bad being Doctor Apocalypse, he is pretty different

I am intimately familiar and have run Destroyers/Porky-lips a dozen times over the years, and have the Elemental comics based on the module..and also am FB friends with Bill Willingham. Lol

But actually it was not the Big Bad I was referring to. But I don't want to say anything. I read the IC thread enough to know it is a loose adaptation, so I don't necessarily "know" anything!

But I will have fun either way.

Coincidentally I got V&V revised edition for my birthday in 1982...36 years ago today!

That's about when I got mine... I really don't remember which I got first... Champions 1st edition or V&V 2nd... it was around this or 83...

I think I got Champions first, because I was introduced to it first. And it was V&V 1st edition for me.

I only remember being driven to the Complete Strategist in Montclair, NJ (multi-location gaming store no longer in NJ) to pick up V&V (and Bushido).

My original copy of Bushido is still on my shelf. I never did actually *play* it. Just made characters.

I still have my original V&V and Champions I (and II, III, IV and V) and still pull them off the shelves to read over. My and my friends would, over summer breaks, ride our bikes 16 miles from Columbia Fall Montana to the one and only local game store in Kalispell oh memories

The Game that inspired George R.R. Martin's Wild Cards! (Wild Cards was based on his Superworld campaign.)

I don't have the box for that anymore but still have the rulbooks. I still have my V&V but bought new ones (two!). Champions I is still on the shelf but somehow lost II, III, IV...never owned V. All the TSR Marvel editions are there as well as the 1st 2nd 3rd of DC by Mayfair. Golden Heroes,,,Heroes Unlimited.

I guess I dug (dig) superhero rpgs LOL!
