Ok, I'm going stir crazy: I want to role play >_<

For the wait, Felix will take a moment to go into Zaps: he needs Concentrated Caffeine!

In related news odds are Shadow and Raymond will forbid Felix from drinking anything caffeinated ever again :D

honestly, good overall, but it isnot spidy while being spidy.
Spidy has alot more to him then that over all: he is a science wise kid, not just competent.
He has other motivations, but that is nitpicky, but more to the point: He has a Big mouth.
While Spiderman is a powerhouse of raw might: he never relies on it; unlike lets say, superman who, when push comes shove, wins his fights by just bludgeoning the other guy with his fists.

Spiderman's go to, and push come shove, tactic is to smart talk the other guy into doing something stupid he can capitalize on and then hammer the point home: extra points if he can also add insult to the injury. Its what makes Spidy Spidy: it is not here.
Its more impotent for the feel of spider man that spidy can press the verbal screws to someone, then his power set being up to snuff: Spidy is also one of the few supers who not only can work while at a masive disadvantage but work well while doing so: he dos not rely on being the big guy, he acts, sometimes is, but acts as an annoying nat who enrages the other guy to the point were jo smo can beat Juggernaut: because spidy got Juggernaut to walk onto a very weak bridge that he can't cross without falling through.
Spidy is at his weakest, even when dealing with someone he can outright overpower, when the other guy dos not buy what he is selling.

just my insights :3
you could knock his str to 5-6 and get the points needed to get more spidy goodness in there :D

Strength 5 or 6 is only barely superhuman. Spiderman displays more strength than that, I figure.

The qualities you're talking about are kind of non-mechanical though. Being able to 'press the verbal screws to someone' is largely roleplay, for example. As is being able to 'work while at a massive disadvantage' and so on. Those are valid comments on the character, but aren't really reflected in a game-rule situation. I mean, you could take Taunt or something...that's all of a 1pp difference though. :)

It looks like a good treatment to me. Using Elongate to simulate certain applications of webshooting is a good idea.

Taunt and the skills to back it up.

Elongate lets his Str do double duty, and removes the need for a high Dex.

I did make a mistake, though, with the Swinging. It's not ranked. 1 rank lets you swing at your normal ground speed. I reduced the swinging to 1 rank, and added Speed 4 with the Limitation Only While Swinging. Reduced the total cost by 4 points.

This also more closely represents early, high-school Spiderman, who's just getting started in the hero biz.

As I said, Spiby is at the uper end of the marvel Strength scale: however his character is more diminished from lake of presence then lack of comical supper strength. As a DM yes, reward good role playing: but just because the player can make an epic speech or a great zinger dos not mean the half orc who dumped Cha has the force of personality to make it a heart felt speech or make someone listen to him in the middle of a melee in the first place to get those screws turning. The spidy above is literally a jo smo in terms of provoking someone with his vocabulary, unlike Spiderman who butters his toast with it. A perfect remake of spider man would likely need between 150-170pp, this one is built on 120; that kind of gap will see a lot of power loss. You can't expect a high end hero to translate to initiate level and keep their entire power suit at full potency. and as I said, spidy dos not behave as a super strong brick, even though he is, he acts more like an acrobat

 you are missing What I'm saying, I'm Saying THE spiderman, the marvel character, Is in Fact a Brick: He has greatly enhanced strength and durability. But since he never Acts like one, no one ever thinks of him like one. Not saying Spidy is a brick on par with The Thing or Hulk, be he is still cable in the role, if under powered for it.

Spidy also has very impressive ability as a fighter, able to keep up with most of the Elite melee supers/experts in the marvel universe. That is another point of conflict between Marvel spidy and the one we see above and underlines that spider man is a very point intensive character.
