Modiphius has announced that their Star Trek license for their tabletop RPG has now been expanded to include Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Picard products!

They also mention that the Tricorder Collectors Set -- "a digest size Original series themed pocket rulebook, dice, crew sheets, 3-part campaign, and a deluxe wearable box in the shape of a tricorder with magnetic lid" -- is coming next year.

Plus their Shackleton Expanse Campaign in Q3 2021.

Pictured is the Tricorder accessory for FASA's 1980s Star Trek RPG. I have two of these, for some reason (as well as three of the original RPG boxed sets and two boxed sets of the Starship Tactical Combat Simulator, and every sourcebook FASA ever made - you might say I was obsessed at the time). It has cardboard wheels which rotate to show different data in little slots in the cardboard cover.

The expansion of the licence is very good news. The new ST shows are quite good and have very playable settings, imo. Good for Modiphius!
It does raise the question: Which seasons of Disco? Season 1 is a very grim setting unless using the Klingons as your base PCs.
Season 2 is not sufficiently different from TOS unless you're involved in the core season plot, but there's not a lot of room to add PC's to the core plot unless they replace the core characters.
Season 3 is a whole new setting.... and everything is topsy-turvey.

Not going to happen, at least not until CBS and Paramount re-merge, because neither owns all the rights.

Paramount have the movies, right? And CBS are the ones with all the TV Series? Then i can do with all CBS...I don't think the movies are all that great....I think TV Trek is the best part of Star Trek.
I never read any ST novels, so no idea if they have rights to those stories and content and if it is any good at all.
