My Summer's Guilty Pleasures...

I confessed...

This summer I have two guilty pleasures and they are both reality TV shows. I know, I know, I still hate reality shows in general but rarely do a few did catched my eyes like The Contender.

So what are they? Beauty and the Geek and Dancing with the Stars.

The first is something I could relate to, but honestly, I'm nowhere near that Richard guy, who was once described as "Urkel meets Screech." My opinion? He's a little Woody Allen Not-Gonna-Be. Oy vey.

The second is probably my age showing. I have more appreciation for music my parents would listen to than I have with 80's heavy metal rocks. That and I would like to add that kind of range to my dance repertoire, which already include the Cabbage Patch, the Running Man, the Moonwalk, etc.

So, there you have it. Have I reached a new level of weirdness? Don't know and probably don't care. :p

Well... :\ ...I will be looking at your posts in a whole different light, I must say...

;)

Other than The Apprentice, which I think poses some really interesting challenges for the contestants, I just can't get into reality TV. I think my wife has watched that dancing show, though.

I watch the home improvement shows. My wife has gotten me interested in that "Nanny 911", but that's more for parenting. It's pretty wild, one thing we've noticed that in all of these dysfunctional homes, hitting is tolerated. Of course, that may just be something the network is looking for when evaluating if they put a family on the show or not.

same here. plus the electric slide, the hustle, the bump, the mash potato, the twist, the watusi, the alligator, the handjive, slap leather, achy breaky, bootscoot, and a bunch of other line dances i forget the names of..

I usually avoid reality TV. I can't stand most of it, but somehow I have managed to get hooked on "Hell's Kitchen." It is like watching some kind of tragic accident. You know you shouldn't be watching, but you just can't help yourself.

lol I cant stand them reality shows. But I tend to find myself watching them anyway:o . I have been watching beauty and the geek lately.

Beauty and the Geek?? This is a show I have not heard of. Can it be true?!? What network carries this?

I'm a reality TV show, fan. I admit it. My wife and watched American Idol. My wife even votes for her favorites. We watched every episode of The Apprentice, which is my favorite. We really like Extreme Makeover:Home Edition, as well. The Wife Swap is good (there are two versions), and Nanny 911 is also a good show.

We also used to watch Average Joe, but the second season was lame. The first season was better.

yes it tis true. Hell froze over. . It is about these nerd guys that pair up with real pretty women. The nerds teach the women intellegent sp? things like rocket science ect. and the women show the men a thing or two about fashion ect. It helps the men to bring up there self esteme and also shows the women that geeks are people to. Honestly I cant remember what station it comes on. I will let you know though
